Fans are eagerly waiting to see Triple H and Aleister Black back in the ring!
Fans are eagerly waiting to see Triple H and Aleister Black back in the ring!

WWE is a global juggernaut that produces hours of wrestling content every week. As such, they employ hundreds of Superstars, all of whom are hoping to make their presence felt. Over the years, despite having all the tools to become successful, many fail to achieve success in this highly-competitive world. However, those who do, call it quits eventually and let the newer generation step into their shoes.

On the other hand, there have been instances in WWE where fans hope to see their favorite performers on TV, but they fail to make it due to reasons outside of their control. It can be quite frustrating for younger Superstars, who have ample crowd support and skills, yet are unable to get the opportunities they deserve.

Here in this article, we will look at five Superstars who we miss seeing inside the ring. The Superstars appearing on this list are a mix of the older generation, newer generation, and those who are unfortunately out due to injuries. Do share your personal favorite picks in the comments section below.

#5 WWE Superstar Samoa Joe is out with an injury

Current WWE RAW commentator Samoa Joe is widely considered as one of the toughest pro-wrestlers of all time. His intimidating attitude has made him a favorite of fans who enjoy the old-school type of wrestling. However, his WWE career only started in 2015, more than a decade after he first stepped into the pro-wrestling business.

In his initial days, he was a force to be reckoned with in ROH, where he became the longest-reigning ROH Champion of all time. Later, Joe helped put IMPACT Wrestling on the map by being one of its top performers for nearly a decade.

In WWE NXT, The Samoan Submission Machine became the first-ever two-time NXT Champion and had memorable encounters against a variety of opponents. Despite all his success, his main roster career has been hampered by unforeseen injuries.

While he has ruled out retiring from the business at the moment, there might not be a lot of time left in his career. Considering he's 41 right now, Joe has only a handful of years left before he calls in quits. Fans, as well as Joe himself, have been clamoring for him to return to in-ring action, and it'll be a moment of joy for everyone when the Superstar steps back into the squared circle.

#4 WWE RAW Superstar Andrade has been out of action for months now

One of the most athletically gifted performers in WWE today, Andrade has had a topsy-turvy journey in the company, to say the least. A former IWGP Intercontinental Champion, Andrade was touted to be a pretty big deal when he signed with WWE in 2015. However, he floundered for a couple of years. It was in 2017 when fans began appreciating him for possessing an unreal in-ring skillset.

Winning the NXT Championship and eventually moving to the main roster indicated that Andrade might become the big Latino Superstar WWE desperately wants. However, despite some tremendous performances against Rey Mysterio, the booking hasn't always favored him.

Though he's a former US Champion, WWE never gave him a sustained push. It's been nearly five months now since Andrade was last seen on WWE programming. Fans have been quite vocal on the internet in recent weeks about wanting to see him back in the ring. With the Road to WrestleMania 37 underway, it would be great to see the Superstar back and get involved in some intriguing rivalries ahead of the PPV.

#3 WWE Superstar & 14-time Champion Triple H is still a favorite of many

Yes, Triple H did technically wrestle a match on WWE RAW against Randy Orton recently, but it was more of an angle than a fully-fledged clash. Having last wrestled a full bout on WWE TV against Orton at Super ShowDown in June 2019, it's been a long time since fans have witnessed The Game showcase his in-ring prowess.

Fans can't deny he's one of the greatest storytellers inside the squared circle. His in-ring psychology is unparalleled, and there's hardly anyone who can come closer to him in that aspect.

His position as the head-honcho of WWE NXT and overseeing the global expansion of WWE have kept him occupied in recent years. The Game himself hasn't ruled out a returnto the ring, and several dream matches with top WWE Superstars are waiting to happen once he decides to step back in.

WWE Superstar AJ Styles recently revealed that he would like to face Triple H, and a match against someone like Finn Balor or Tommaso Ciampa from NXT is also quite salivating for fans of The Game.

#2 WWE SmackDown Superstar Aleister Black has been absent for five months now

With the boundless potential to be a tremendous Superstar in WWE for years to come, it's rather surprising that the company hasn't used Aleister Black since October 2020. Since being drafted to SmackDown, Black hasn't made a single appearance, and fans have no idea why he's being held back.

While reports suggested that WWE might have something big planned for him upon his return, nothing has transpired. A former NXT Champion, Black had instantly struck a chord with the fans upon his main roster debut. His eerie demeanor and hypnotic presence had ensured the Superstar can stay relevant due to his tremendous character work.

Defeating Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 36 made fans believe Black's time in WWE had finally come, and a main event push was only a matter of time. Yet, almost a year later, the former NXT Champion is nowhere to be seen. Ironically enough, while Lashley is on course to become the WWE Champion, the man who defeated him last year is not even in the consideration to appear on TV.

#1 WWE Superstar Brock Lesnar last wrestled at WrestleMania 36

Love him or loathe him, there's no denying just how much energy Brock Lesnar pours into WWE whenever he appears. the Superstar's segments and matches always give a big-time feel, no matter if the audiences are against him. Having last wrestled in WWE at WrestleMania 36, where he lost his WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre, Lesnar has been away from the company ever since.

With a lack of live crowds already creating an environment devoid of energy, Lesnar's absence has further diminished the excitement that is felt during the Road to WrestleMania. For the last few years, The Beast has always been around during this time. However, it increasingly feels like WrestleMania 37 will go ahead without a Lesnar match on the show.

With Bobby Lashley possibly winning the WWE Championship next week on RAW, a clash between the two powerhouse Superstars can bring back fans in droves. While this is nothing more than a dream scenario right now, The Beast not being present on WWE programming this time of the year is just a little disappointing.
