6 WWE Superstars who are being used way too much on TV

WWE is responsible for producing more than seven hours of programming every week and that is no easy task to complete. In fact, between taping episodes during the ongoing pandemic, dealing with the problem of not having an organic live crowd, and trying to carve out a path for the future of The WWE, it could be downright difficult at times to achieve the set objectives.

That being said, what makes things even harder is the fact that a considerable portion of the weekly product is dedicated to Superstars who are already established. Of course, this isn't really WWE's fault, especially since the company is trying to find a new sweet spot with fans. However, it is still coming at the expense of building up new talent.

So, let's take a look at six Superstars who are being featured abundantly on WWE TV these days. As always, let us know your thoughts in the comments below and tell us who you think is getting way too much TV time currently.

#6 Nia Jax

Maybe WWE needs to keep Nia Jax away from the title picture for some months.
Maybe WWE needs to keep Nia Jax away from the title picture for some months.

It goes without saying that one of the integral parts of RAW's Women's Division is Nia Jax. Maybe it has to do something with the fact that she is the only monster heel in the entire division with a solid track record. But her constant involvement in the Women's Championship picture has started turning away fans since they are finding the Irresistible Force taking up more and more TV time with every passing week.

With that being said and Superstars like Kairi Sane, Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan, and others striving to make a name for themselves, why not remove Jax from the title picture for a while? Sure, she is one of the best heels in the division and has the ability to make her opponents look great, but it's still coming at the cost of new talent.

#5 Jeff Hardy

Does Jeff Hardy really deserve all this television time?
Does Jeff Hardy really deserve all this television time?

Jeff Hardy is a great veteran talent for WWE and one of the most entertaining Superstars to watch on the entire roster. The problem, however, is that with Friday Night SmackDown's limited time slot and a plethora of other Superstars in need of that critical airtime, giving lengthy and (sometimes) multiple segments to Hardy is almost unjustifiable at this point.

Now, this doesn't mean that the Charismatic Enigma needs to be taken off-TV entirely, but WWE's dedication towards him in the last few weeks is just puzzling to watch. It's as if the company is using so much time out of an already limited schedule to build up a Superstar who doesn't really need this kind of rub at this point in his career.

Think about it! There are so many other Superstars on whom Friday Night SmackDown could be focusing right now and Jeff Hardy doesn't need to be one of them. What about Mojo Rawley? What about Shorty G? What about focusing on the future of WWE's midcard division and not so much on the past?

#4 Zelina Vega

Zelina Vega needs to take a back seat at some point in the near future.
Zelina Vega needs to take a back seat at some point in the near future.

Zelina Vega is one of those Superstars in WWE who can grab your attention without stepping inside the squared circle. She is cold, calculated, and has one of the most bone-chilling voices for a female manager ever heard in a WWE arena. This woman is no mere eye candy to get someone's attention; she is a full-blown Paul Heyman-style manager.

While Vega is absolutely nailing her role as the manager of Angel Garza and Andrade, the amount of screen time WWE is continuing to give her is almost inexcusable. Of course, one could argue that it is just to give Andrade and Garza something to fight about and that she plays her role perfectly, but for how long has this been going on?

If nothing else, Vega has been unveiling the next big thing after the other for months now and it's more of a trope than anything else. Think about it! So many other Superstars could benefit from the airtime that Vega is getting and maybe even flesh their characters out in the process.

#3 Charlotte Flair

Maybe WWE should only use Charlotte as a special attraction moving forward.
Maybe WWE should only use Charlotte as a special attraction moving forward.

Charlotte Flair is, without a doubt, one of the most successful female Superstars in WWE history and she fully deserves the spot she is in right now. The problem, though, is that the Queen is being paraded out week after week, which is severely depleting the magnitude of her mere presence.

Think about it! Charlotte Flair is on the same level as that of Brock Lesnar at this point in her career and doesn't need to be trotted out every single week on WWE television. In fact, she should be booked more like a major box office draw and only be brought in when the company wants to do something that will have meaning.

If nothing else, Charlotte Flair is a special attraction and there is no point bringing her out every week. Furthermore, there are a handful of other Superstars who could use Flair's TV time right now to become the next big thing. Of course, Charlotte could play a role in helping them reach that level of success, but it would have a lot more impact if the Queen is saved for only special occasions.

#2 Randy Orton and #1 Edge

Randy Orton and Edge don't need to be weekly fixtures on television.
Randy Orton and Edge don't need to be weekly fixtures on television.

As fun and out-of-the-box Randy Orton versus Edge was at WWE Backlash, it still felt like the company was relying on veterans and taking valuable screen time away from today's talent. Of course, one could argue that it's not an issue when it comes to the three-hour format of Monday Night Raw but think about the bigger picture for a second.

WWE spent week after week on Monday Night Raw trying to get fans to buy into this "Greatest Wrestling Match Ever" hype. WWE even brought in Hall of Famers to weigh in on who would win. With that being said, however, it got to the point where it seemed like "Edge versus Orton" was all fans were supposed to care about.

From being billed as the "Greatest Wrestling Match Ever" to getting the main event slot at Backlash, the match between Orton and Edge was supposed to be WWE's big box office draw. The problem here is that it was a missed opportunity for the company to establish one of its newly-minted Champions or do any number of more useful things.

In the end, Orton versus Edge was nothing short of legendary. Unfortunately for the rising stars on the roster, it was also something that took up a considerable amount of time that could have been used to feature them on a Pay-Per-View in some capacity.
