It's almost Royal Rumble weekend which means that the Road to WrestleMania is right around the corner so there will be a number of WWE returns so that legends and former stars are able to return to be part of WrestleMania 34.

It's the way WWE has been for a long time, The Royal Rumble has always been the best place for returns because many of the WWE fans forget the people who were once on the injured list who have since been cleared to return to the company.

Prepare yourselves for the return of these well-known stars over the next few days.

#5. Big Cass

Big Cass was put out of action last year because of a knee injury that he suffered in a match with his former teammate Enzo Amore. Cass was set for a huge push before he was injured but has since been forced to undergo knee surgery and work on a return to the company.

Cass was recently photographed without crutches and it seems that right now he is one of the superstars who is rumoured to be making his return at The Royal Rumble which could hopefully set up a new feud for the former NXT star heading into WrestleMania.

#4. Neville

Will Neville return to help the Cruiserweight Division?

The current situation surrounding the Cruiserweight Championship is one that has many fans speculating that the only saviour of the division could be Neville. It was the former NXT Champion who put the division on the map when he won the title this time last year and earned the name King of the Cruiserweights, so it seems likely that WWE has found a way to bring him back to the company after a few months away.

Neville was always popular with the WWE Universe whether he was a face or a heel and right now 205 Live definitely needs something to bring back the viewers and Neville could definitely be the man.

#3. Triple H

Triple H was part of Raw's 25th Anniversary, but as a competitor, he hasn't been seen on WWE TV for a number of months. It's almost WrestleMania season and The Game always has to be part of proceedings and considering the fact that there have been teases of matches between him and the likes of Braun Strowman, Kurt Angle and Shane McMahon in recent months, it is unknown who he going to face.

Triple H has been part of WrestleMania for a number of years and actually holds the record now for the most losses at the biggest event of the year, so he will definitely be returning soon to set up his match for WrestleMania 34.

#2 Dolph Ziggler

Dolph Ziggler hasn't been seen since a few nights after Clash of Champions last year when he decided to relinquish the United States Championship. It was thought that Dolph would return to the company as part of The Royal Rumble when a new Champion was crowned, but WWE changed the date of the final and instead crowned a new Champion last week.

This means that Dolph isn't likely to return at The Rumble anymore, but he is still expected to return to WWE in the near future and address the current situation with the title. It is thought that Dolph only did it because he hoped that it would give the WWE Universe something to talk about, much like when CM Punk walked out, but the ironic thing is that the WWE Universe has completely forgotten about Dolph over the past few weeks.

#1. Nikki Bella

Nikki Bella is a former Divas Champion but she was forced to take another lengthy hiatus from WWE following WrestleMania 33 when it was confirmed that she was once again struggling with a neck injury.

Nikki has since been a contestant on Dancing With The Stars and returned to WWE for a few seconds as part of Raw's 25th Anniversary on Monday and it is thought that both she and her sister Brie will be part of the Women's Royal Rumble match on Sunday night before they will then stick around and be part of WrestleMania as well. The duo have mentioned this on numerous episodes of Total Divas over the past few months so it is expected that they will pick up feuds on Sunday night that will allow them to move forward into WrestleMania season.
