5 Things The WWE Universe needs to stop complaining about

What is wrong with The WWE Universe?
What is wrong with The WWE Universe?

Was Daniel Bryan right when he called The WWE Universe fickle?

While WWE fans will probably never admit this character flaw about themselves, especially with how entitled many of them to act today, it seems like Bryan's latest gimmick might be more true to life than originally thought. In fact, it honestly feels like The WWE Universe is just impossible to please and only enjoy complaining.

Whether that is actually true or not remains to be seen and will depend on what The WWE Universe does in October when AEW arrives on TNT, but there really isn't any other way to explain the actions of fans right now. Furthermore, their constantly complaining creates a very toxic environment for those that enjoy the show.

With that being said, and fans continuing to get more and more toxic as time goes on, here are five things that They need to stop complaining about and why. As always, let us know your thoughts in the comments below and be sure to tell us what you think The WWE Universe should stop complaining about.

#5 AEW being better

AEW or WWE? It doesn't matter! It's all pro wrestling!
AEW or WWE? It doesn't matter! It's all pro wrestling!

Let's be honest here.

Although AEW Double Or Nothing is set to take place this memorial day weekend, it doesn't mean it's a viable competitor for WWE or even able to stand on its own two feet yet. Furthermore, AEW hasn't produced a weekly product yet and won't until this fall, which leaves nothing for fans to compare WWE to.

In the end, fans that are saying AEW is better are blind to reality and believe it really is that easy to compete with WWE. Unfortunately, it's not and fans of the upstart company need to realize that it will take time in order for AEW to gain its footing. Then they can start worrying about being better than WWE.

#4 Superstars wanting to leave

Why do fans have a problem with superstars like Sasha Banks wanting to leave?
Why do fans have a problem with superstars like Sasha Banks wanting to leave?

Another thing The WWE Universe needs to be aware of is the fact that superstars wanting to leave the company is none of their business. Beyond that, it's extremely shallow and petty to sit there and make fun of someone for wanting to chase an opportunity somewhere else. In fact, it proves just how fickle The WWE Universe can be.

For example, Sasha Banks was once the biggest thing on Monday Night Raw and while that is all an afterthought that, it's not like fans weren't behind her when she first came to the main roster. Beyond that, WWE fans couldn't wait for her to finally ascend to the top, but when she finally did, they all turned on her.

Now she's unhappy where she is and wants to chase another opportunity. Now keep in mind this isn't WWE's fault, as they can only please so many people at one time, but chiding someone for taking their ball and wanting to go somewhere else, is very disrespectful to the business, but to the superstars themselves.

Think about it! The way WWE fans act, it's like they only appreciate a superstar until they do something they don't like. Not only is that hypocritical and a very one-sided relationship between the superstars and their fans, but it also shows again just how toxic The Universe can be at times.

#3 Authority figures

WWE is doing great things with Shane McMahon and other authority figures right now.
WWE is doing great things with Shane McMahon and other authority figures right now.

One thing The WWE Universe really despises are authority figures and while they are supposed to hate these individuals, they shouldn't be doing it to the point where they want it to end. In fact, in storytelling, both a protagonist and an antagonist most exist in order to tell a fulfilling story.

Think about it! Think for a second about all the hatred that Shane McMahon has been able to garner since he went heel with his best in the world gimmick. Not only is he the perfect man to help establish a new babyface, but his involvement with other heel characters is raising their profiles and making the story more interesting.

If nothing else, WWE needs authority figures more than ever and fans are ridiculous for not realizing it. In fact, without authority figures on both Raw and Smackdown Live, what is there really to fight about? Sure, you can have the heels be the de facto heel, but that only works for so long and doesn't always lend its self to an overarching storyline.

#2 New ideas

Say it with me. There is nothing wrong with The 24/7 title!
Say it with me. There is nothing wrong with The 24/7 title!

What is it about The WWE Universe and new ideas.

Seriously though, between The 24/7 title and the Wild Card rule, fans are having a field day criticizing The WWE right now. The problem with that, however, is that it makes the company not to want to try new ideas and thus makes the product suffer. It also just creates another toxic environment online, which is sure to gain unneeded attention.

With that being said, The WWE Universe needs to appreciate that the company is at least trying new things and stop overly blaming them for the ones that fail. Think about it! If The WWE really didn't care about their fans, which is what some of them think now, they wouldn't be trying these new ideas in order to keep audiences around.

In the end, some ideas are going to succeed and some are going to fail. The WWE Universe needs to understand that and also understand that just because the company has one or two bad ideas, doesn't mean its time to give up on the entire product. In fact, they really need to try harder to find the positives in what the company is doing and not focus so much on the negative.

#1 Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar might just be The savior of WWE and fans don't realize it.
Brock Lesnar might just be The savior of WWE and fans don't realize it.

Why so much hate for Brock Lesnar?

Not only is he the single biggest box office attraction in WWE right now, but he is also no doubt that little sprinkle of chaos that adds flavor to the overall product. Beyond that, WWE's move to make him Mr. Money in The Bank was genius and created a situation where the company can keep the fans on their toes in anticipation of when 'The Beast' cashes in.

Unfortunately for The WWE, the move was panned by critics as just going back to the drawing board and relying on part-timers to do what a full-time star should be able to accomplish. With that being said, one has to consider that WWE doesn't have many options in a top star right now due to injury and unestablished stars, which makes the pool very shallow.

For example, if WWE were to shoot Roman Reigns up into the title picture right now, the fans would go nuts, so that's not an option. Some might point to Balor being an established star and capable of carrying a brand, his injuries and Vince McMahon's dislike of him as a top guy kind of makes for a bad situation.

In the end, WWE is stuck in this situation right now and will be until a superstar either returns from injury or another one is able to be established. Until then, however, fans could at least accept the product for what it is and try to find the good in it, but they continue to just want to complain instead.
