Major star could dethrone Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam, says WWE analyst, after winning Money in the Bank

WWE analyst Sam Roberts believes Logan Paul can win the Men's Money in the Bank briefcase this year. He thinks The Maverick can then cash in his contract on Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam.

While Paul is currently the United States Champion, he will challenge The American Nightmare for the Undisputed WWE Championship on Saturday at King and Queen of the Ring in Saudi Arabia. While Roberts does not believe The Maverick will dethrone Rhodes at the upcoming premium live event, he did not rule out the possibility of him capturing the title later this year.

On his Notsam Wrestling podcast, the WWE analyst addressed a fan's suggestion of Paul winning the Money in the Bank contract and possibly cashing in to win a world title. Roberts disclosed that he liked the idea, proposing that The Maverick could lose his United States Title to LA Knight at SummerSlam before cashing in on Rhodes later that night to win the Undisputed WWE Championship.

"I like the idea of Logan losing and then here comes this faction [Wyatt 6] to haunt Cody, Cody gets haunted, he goes into Clash at the Castle still being haunted, Logan Paul wins Money in the Bank, now he's the United States Champion and the Money in the Bank briefcase holder, and maybe he faces LA Knight at SummerSlam loses and then later in the night cashes in on Cody and gets the title from Cody," he said. On the latest episode of the podcast, he made another prediction regarding the faction. The WWE analyst said the stable might target Cody Rhodes after his clean victory over Logan Paul in Saudi Arabia.

"This gives us the opportunity that Cody can beat Logan Paul clean and then while he's celebrating, that's when we can get boom, boom, boom, all the lights can go off kind of one section at a time and we can do our thing and that's when this new stable can finally show themselves and we can maybe build a program with Cody," Roberts said.
