Top WWE star reveals the reason for her absence from RAW

WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus revealed the reason for missing Monday Night Raw this week.

The Canadian star has been involved in a heated feud with Becky Lynch over the last few weeks. However, she was not present on the red this week when The Man challenged her to a match at Night of Champions.

Trish took to Twitter to explain her absence, stating that she was busy with her outside-the-squared circle ventures. Stratus is one of the judges of Canada's Got Talent, and she was at the event this week where she watched Golden Buzzer pick up the win. The former Women's Champion apologized for missing Raw and asked if she had missed anything.

Trish Stratus is likely to face Becky Lynch at WWE Night of Champions

The feud between Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch has been simmering over the last few weeks. The two were on the same side before the Hall of Famer decided to turn on The Man after losing the Tag Team Championships to Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.

Becky was absent from programming after the betrayal, she made her return to RAW last week, where she immediately went after Stratus. After last week's brawl, Trish was not present on the red brand this past Monday, where Lynch laid down the challenge for a match at Night of Champions.

While the match is not official at the time of this writing, Stratus is likely to accept the challenge. This will also be the Hall of Famer's first singles match since SummerSlam 2019, where she took on Charlotte Flair.

It has also been reported that WWE has been planning a series of matches between the two, with the bout at Night of Champions being the first of the series. Trish Stratus could also be involved in this year's Money in the Bank ladder match, as per reports.
