Triple H's right-hand man no longer replying to WWE veteran's texts, 24-year friendship comes to a bitter end (Exclusive)

Real-life friendships in professional wrestling can sometimes go south for various reasons, and it seems like the relationship between Vince Russo and current WWE executive Jeremy Borash has come to an unfortunate end.

Jeremy Borash, who made a name for himself in TNA/IMPACT Wrestling, was recently called Triple H's "right-hand man" by Kevin Nash. Vince Russo has known Jeremy Borash since 1999, as the former WWE writer took him under his wing. The two were even close outside the business as they went on trips together, and Russo noted that he even stayed over at Jeremy's house back in the day.

The connection, however, hasn't been the same between them since Borash joined WWE. Vince Russo recalled how they both loved John Denver's 'Grandma's Feather Bed,' and he decided to text Jeremy Borash when he recently heard the iconic song while driving.

Much to Russo's disappointment, Jeremy didn't respond to his messages, and the former WWE personality got a seemingly clear picture of their fractured friendship.

While speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Russo didn't mince his words while sending a message to Jeremy Borash:

"I'm going to quote the great Vic Venom here, 'Bite me.' Everything I ever did for you, bro, throughout your freaking career, bro, and now because you and Trips are engaged or married. I don't know, maybe you were the other woman in the relationship when it was a rocky road with him and Stephanie. I don't know. But the fact that you can't even answer a text. What bro? If you answer a text from Vince Russo, you're going to get heat with Trips. Or do I have heat with you, bro? Because you're Trips' right-hand man, and I come on here every week and laugh at your show. It's laughable, bro." [10:30 - 11:31]

Jeremy Borash works as a Senior Director of Content and Development and is said to be close to Triple H, who has been spearheading the creative decision-making on the main roster.

Vince Russo has been one of the most vocal detractors of WWE's product - specifically Monday Night RAW - and found it odd that his professional views could negatively impact his equation with Borash.

"See, when you were working with me, that's a different story. But you and Trips, together, this show is laughable. That is my opinion, bro. So, if you can't answer a text about 'Grandma's Feather Bed,' because I sit here every Monday and state the obvious of how this show is awful, shame on you, bro. You know what, Chris?" Vince Russo mentions former WWE colleague Bruce Prichard; says he never forgets those who helped him

Vince Russo played a pivotal role during the Attitude Era, but he isn't the most popular name in the wrestling industry due to his outspoken demeanor.

However, Russo stressed that he always remembered the people who assisted him during his career, even if they had their ideological differences. The 62-year-old brought up Bruce Prichard's example and explained that while they argued, he was always grateful to Prichard for helping him understand the art of TV production in WWE.

Vince Russo expected the same from Jeremy Borash as he continued:

"I never forgot the people that helped me along the way. To this day, Bruce Prichard and I have had our ups and downs, and I'd always point to Bruce and say, 'Bro, this guy took me under his wing at the beginning. He took me on shoots with 'Taker. He taught me how to produce.' The Great Blackjack Lanza, I will never ever forget people. But now this guy, married to Trips, can't even comment on Grandma's Feather Bed because what, bro? I can't even find an adjective to describe this show. This joke of a show that doesn't." [12:05 - 13:00]
