RAW Preview: 5-time champ to turn face, Title to be vacated?

It's just another episode of RAW, but there's a lot more interest than ever. Why? To tune in to see if WWE responds to All Elite Wrestling. As you probably know, Saturday night saw All Elite Wrestling host their inaugural PPV - Double or Nothing.

Unsurprisingly, it was a massive success, featuring top-quality matches from top to bottom and proving that there is an alternate option to WWE coming around. Cody Rhodes took a couple of not-so-subtle shots at WWE, first mocking their inflation of attendance figures and secondly, smashing a throne with a hammer during his entrance, seemingly taking a shot at Triple H.

Either way, it's RAW tonight and there's a lot to look forward to. Brock Lesnar didn't make his MITB decision, but he will this week. Beck Lynch teamed with the unlikely duo of Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross while Seth Rollins teamed up with WWE Champion Kofi Kingston in the main event.

Here's what you need to look forward to on RAW this week.

#5. The state of the United States Championship

What is the fate of the US title?
What is the fate of the US title?

As you probably know by now, Rey Mysterio got his revenge on Samoa Joe at Money in the Bank following a humiliating one-minute loss at WrestleMania 35. In just around two minutes, Mysterio pinned Samoa Joe to become United States Champion.

Except, there was one problem - the referee blatantly missed the fact that Samoa Joe's shoulders were up. Mysterio was crowned champion unfairly and his status isn't known as he didn't show up on RAW.

This week, we'll get an update on the state of the United States Championship. Rumours have been pointing to the fact that the title will be vacated on RAW. This will give Samoa Joe another opportunity to reclaim the title.

#4. The 24/7 chaos

Last week, Mick Foley introduced the newest title to WWE - the 24/7 Championship. In case you're not aware yet, the rules are rather simple - As the name suggests, the title is on the line 24 hours, 7 days a week as long as a referee is present.

The title can also change hands at any given place or moment and doesn't have any DQ stipulations attached to it. With that said, Titus O' Neil grabbed the title to become the inaugural champion. Around a minute or less later, Robert Roode quickly rolled him up from behind to become champion.

He fled amid all the chaos and was chased by the midcard and lower midcard roster the entire night. He found solace in R-Truth, who hid him in the trunk of his car and chased everyone away. Cleverly, Truth slammed Roode's head against the car, revealing a refere to already be in the passenger's seat. He then pinned him for the title and has been getting chased ever since.

With the Wildcard rule in effect, will Truth appear on RAW? Since he's a SmackDown star all he has to do it not show up and the title won't change hands!

#3. Who's next for The Man?

Becky Lynch had an unusual Monday on RAW
Becky Lynch had an unusual Monday on RAW

Last week, Becky Lynch was the guest on old rival Alexa Bliss' talk show A Moment of Bliss. Nikki Cross, who recently aligned with Bliss, was present too and as with every episode of the show - there was interference.

Lacey Evans, one night removed from her defeat by Becky Lynch came out, followed by SmackDown Live stars and Women's Tag Team Champions The IIconics. It led to Lynch teaming with the unusual pair of Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss, which saw her and Cross do all the work to get the win.

Evans has stated her intention to keep going after Lynch, but with Bliss and Cross present, will they be eyeing the title as well? Alexa Bliss has been teasing a face turn and we could see that come to fruition as early as tonight!

#2. Will the legends make their presence known prior to Saudi Arabia?

11 days to go!
11 days to go!

With just 11 days left for the Saudi Arabia show, WWE has their second last chance to have anything remotely close to a "build" for Goldberg vs The Undertaker. It's been advertised as a first-time ever "Dream Match" and in a way, it is, albeit way past both of their primes.

It's surprising that WWE hasn't had either competitor come out to make an appearance of any sort. We might get a token appearance from The Undertaker or Goldberg, but usually WWE prefers announcing those beforehand so that they can get higher viewership and ticket sales.

However, for once, WWE could decide to pull off a swerve and have a surprise appearance from either of the two men. If both men had a staredown, then it certainly would be epic, but that's something that may be saved for next week.

#1. Brock Lesnar makes his decision

Brock Lesnar will make his big decision
Brock Lesnar will make his big decision

Brock Lesnar is Mr. Money in the Bank. We still find it hard to say that without thinking "What?". Lesnar never seemed the type to take the alternate route to the title, but here we are.

Last week, Lesnar was confronted by both Universal Champion Seth Rollins as well as WWE Champion Kofi Kingston, both of whom urged Lesnar to cash in against them, with Rollins ready to fight him on short notice.

Of course, Paul Heyman had something to say about it. He was open how that's not how the briefcase works. But at the end of the night, Heyman declared that Brock Lesnar will make his decision next week as to who he will be facing.

Call it prediction, speculation, or whatever - but we firmly believe that Brock Lesnar will choose Seth Rollins and it will be a match at Super ShowDown. He'll only be the fourth person to cash-in beforehand and hopefully, he'll be the fifth person to fail his cash in.
