RAW Preview: Epic Royal Rumble 2019 rematch, Surprise heel turn to be teased after 3 years? (November 4th, 2019)

Brock Lesnar is back!
Brock Lesnar is back!

Welcome to this week's edition of WWE RAW Preview! We're in for a rather interesting week as the build to Survivor Series begins. Technically, it already began this past Friday when the NXT roster invaded SmackDown Live and somewhat saved the day amidst various issues that WWE had in Saudi Arabia.

It was an incredible show, but that was SmackDown. RAW last week was a rather interesting episode with a bit of a surprising ending. It was, of course, the Rusev-Lana-Bobby Lashley storyline and if it wasn't bizarre enough already, it took a whole new turn, but we'll get back to that later.

Last week was more focused on the build towards Crown Jewel for the men, whereas the women marched on with some really good matches, including Becky Lynch vs Kairi Sane and Charlotte Flair & Natalya against The IIconics.

Now that everybody is back in the United States, the shows will go on as per usual and here is what you need to look forward to this week!

#5 What's next for Seth Rollins?

The look of defeat
The look of defeat

It's not been an easy month for Seth Rollins. The comments he's made about fans have significantly reduced his popularity and to add to it, the crowd was audibly in favor of The Fiend at Hell in a Cell.

Displeased with the way Rollins handled things, he has faced the wrath of the WWE Universe across the world, with many of the Saudi Arabian fans even booing The Architect at Crown Jewel.

The descent this month continued and at Crown Jewel, he inevitably lost the Universal Championship to The Fiend. He isn't going to be getting much in the way of sympathy for it, so it'll be interesting to see how he responds.

The days of immediate rematches are over and Bray Wyatt is now on a different brand. He's lost the Universal title for good and he's not going to be a happy man. With the combination of everything happen, we wouldn't be surprised to see Rollins teasing a heel turn for the first time in 3 years.

#4 New challengers await

Becky Lynch defeated Kairi Sane last week
Becky Lynch defeated Kairi Sane last week

Last week, The Man Becky Lynch had a fantastic match against a very game Kairi Sane, defeating her in an ultra-competitive match-up. However, she isn't done with The Kabuki Warriors just yet.

She has to get through a woman who she has a lot of respect for in Asuka. Do remember that it was just earlier this year when the two were tearing it apart at the Royal Rumble opener. In that contest, Asuka defeated Becky Lynch clean as a whistle and it's something that The Man hasn't forgotten.

She's essentially cleared her division but Asuka is a superstar that she is yet to get one over. While they may not be on friendly terms now, there's respect from Becky Lynch's end.

But this isn't a contest of respect. It's to determine who's better and Becky Lynch has an itch to get back the one victory she doesn't possess. If Asuka does, however, defeat her, then it automatically puts her in front for a title shot.

With that being said, there's the entire Survivor Series madness going on right now, so Asuka would have to wait her turn for a title shot.

#3 Brock Lesnar returns to RAW

Will he be present?
Will he be present?

Brock Lesnar made a rather shocking announcement to open Friday Night SmackDown, with Paul Heyman declaring that The Beast Incarnate has quit SmackDown. This obviously means that he's headed right back to the red brand - the place that Paul Heyman runs from behind the scenes.

Firstly, will The Beast Incarnate show up? He will be an integral part of the show and it would confirm that the World Championships will be changing brands, similar to what happened in 2005.

And when Lesnar does appear, who will be the first to confront him? Will he have a title challenger, or will he be met by champions of opposing brands who will have to face him at Survivor Series?

#2 Will the Rusev-Lana-Lashley angle take a new twist?

What more can happen?
What more can happen?

This has gotten out of hand. Let's first address the elephant in the room that is Lana's logic. She claims that Rusev is a sex addict who wanted it all the time, so to take revenge she sleeps with another man?

Lana even made accusations that Rusev cheated on her - a claim that he has since vehemently denied. Who you believe is up to you, but one thing we know for sure is that all of this is pure madness.

The three of them even main-evented RAW last week in the King's Court and as expected, Lashley came out and things got violent. Lana assisted Lashley in the assault of Rusev and the show ended with the two of them kissing over a defeated Rusev.

The question this week as to whether the two will have a match. They're both on the same brand and there is going to be the entire Survivor Series aspect to take care of in a matter of weeks, so will they finally blow it off and have a grudge match?

#1 Does an invasion await?

SmackDown was in for a shock
SmackDown was in for a shock

It's Survivor Series time which means that invasions are inevitable. RAW has faced an invasion practically every year that they've gone toe-to-toe with SmackDown, but this around, the field is going to be a lot wider and a lot more crowded.

We are, of course, talking about the addition of NXT to the playing field as the so-called "developmental" brand will be a part of the Survivor Series festivities. If you haven't been following NXT for all these years, then you should know that it's been a long time since they've surpassed the idea of being just a "developmental" show.

NXT is constantly stacked with world-class talent at their very best and the superstars of SmackDown Live realized that all too well that they're more than just "developmental". We could see another major invasion, but it could either be SmackDown or NXT.

All we know is that the warfare is going to get real and RAW could be under siege again!
