RAW Preview: Possibly big upset in the main event, 2-Time WWE Champion to turn face after 2 years?

Bobby Lashley was slapped with a potential 90-day suspension on RAW last week

Welcome to this week's edition of RAW Preview. We're 20 days away from Hell in a Cell 2021, which means that there will be three episodes of RAW left including tonight.

The build so far has been entertaining, and tonight's episode is stacked with high-profile matches and segments. A Championship will be on the line, an intergender singles match will take place, Randy Orton is back in action, and the WWE Champion Bobby Lashley is guaranteed to find out who his Hell in a Cell opponent will be.

Here's what to expect from a stacked episode of RAW tonight:

#5. Kofi Kingston and Drew McIntyre battle it out on RAW to book a spot at Hell in a Cell

WWE will enter Hell in a Cell in a few weeks, but before that, the build must begin. On RAW, the build-up to the main match will feature Kofi Kingston facing Drew McIntyre in a rematch on RAW to determine Bobby Lashley's WWE Championship opponent.

Kingston was an unlikely candidate, but after answering Lashley's non-title open challenge on RAW, he managed to pin the WWE Champion thanks to help from both Xavier Woods and McIntyre.

Last week, however, the New Day member seemed less than impressed with The Scottish Warrior, who has been asking for a WWE title shot solely based on the fact that he wasn't pinned at WrestleMania Backlash.

This resulted in an exciting opening match on RAW, but controversy ensued after Bobby Lashley interfered, causing a double disqualification. A furious Adam Pearce called him and MVP backstage, informing them that a rematch was booked for the following week on RAW.

To add to that, a stipulation was inserted. If Lashley or MVP was to get involved and influence the match in any way, the WWE Champion would get suspended for 90 days without pay.

Kofi Kingston and Drew McIntyre will have a straightforward match on RAW, and only one man can make it to Hell in a Cell. While McIntyre will be the favorite to win and get his rematch against Lashley, a huge upset could be on the cards with a Kingston victory.

Since The All Mighty is unlikely to main event Hell in a Cell, a match against Kofi Kingston would make sense. It would likely mean that Drew McIntyre's WWE title shot gets pushed back by another month, but at this point, he might be better stepping away from the World Championship picture for a while.

#4. The RAW Tag Team Championships are on the line

AJ Styles and Omos are back defending the titles

The RAW tag team title picture hasn't been exciting despite two great superstars holding the Championships. AJ Styles lost to Jaxson Ryker last week, a decision that seems more bizarre by the day.

Either way, it set up a RAW Tag Team Championship match for this week, and Styles and Omos' reign could be under threat. Is this the match that will officially establish a face turn for the two-time WWE champion AJ Styles?

#3. Shayna Baszler takes on Reginald in a "grudge" match

The intergender singles match special of the night will feature Shayna Baszler attempting to humiliate Reginald after he accidentally cost her and Nia Jax the Tag Team Title match on RAW last week.

It was the main event, and after Alexa Bliss' influence saw flames shoot out of the stage, Baszler found herself on the receiving end of yet another defeat against Natalya and Tamina.

After the match, an irate Shayna Baszler held Reginald and told him that they would face off in a singles match next week. Will he get humiliated by The Queen Of Spades?

#2. The Miz returns for a special edition of Miz TV on RAW

The Miz is back!

The Miz returns to RAW for the first time since WrestleMania Backlash. After getting attacked by zombies, he was presumably written off due following reports of a legitimate ACL injury.

While it's only speculative at this point, this might be a sign that his injury isn't as bad as first thought. However, the segment will help hype the RAW Women's Championship match between Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair - both of whom are the guests for Miz TV.

How will the segment end as they build to Hell in a Cell? Ripley could end up attacking the two-time WWE Champion The Miz in the process.

#1. Randy Orton faces Xavier Woods

This should be an exciting match to watch
This should be an exciting match to watch

Last week on RAW, Xavier Woods and Riddle stole the show. The latter also used his tag team partner's finishing move as he hit the RKO to win the match. This week, Woods faces Kofi Kingston's old rival Randy Orton in what should be an exciting match.

Will The Viper walk out with an easy victory? Or will Xavier Woods steal the show with yet another incredible performance?
