Real-life Bloodline member to return on SmackDown and cost Tama Tonga? A potential babyface turn after 9 months explored

Tama Tonga will face LA Knight in tonight's episode of WWE SmackDown!

Tonight's episode of WWE SmackDown will feature a massive quarterfinal match for the King of the Ring tournament between LA Knight and Tama Tonga. The winner of this match will advance to the semi-finals of the prestigious tournament.

However, a potential twist in the match could await the fans as the real-life Bloodline member Jimmy Uso might make his comeback as a babyface and cost Tama Tonga his match against LA Knight.

The scenario could unfold with Tama Tonga appearing to secure victory over Knight, possibly with assistance from Solo Sikoa and Tanga Loa. However, just as Tonga is on the brink of winning, Jimmy Uso could make a surprise appearance, interfering and costing Tama the match.

This interference could be motivated by the vicious assault launched by Tama and Solo on Jimmy Uso on the SmackDown after WrestleMania XL last month.

Seeking vengeance, Jimmy could return, this time as a heroic character. For those who might not know, the Samoan star turned heel at last year's SummerSlam by costing Jey the Undisputed WWE Universal Title match against Roman Reigns.

However, a babyface return for Jimmy Uso seems realistic following his removal from the heel faction. Later, Jimmy could join forces with Roman Reigns and Jey Uso in a potential Bloodline Civil War.

Why is Jimmy Uso absent from SmackDown television?

Jimmy Uso has been absent from WWE since being kicked out of The Bloodline by Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga. Uso's hiatus is due to an undisclosed injury. While there is no confirmation of his return timeline, the injury does not rule out the possibility of his appearance.

Even if not fully healed, Jimmy could still cost Tama Tonga the quarterfinal match, much like CM Punk cost Drew McIntyre the number one contender spot for the World Heavyweight Championship last month on RAW.

The 38-year-old star last competed at WrestleMania XL and has not wrestled since. It will be interesting to see what unfolds on tonight's episode of SmackDown when Tama Tonga locks horns with The Megastar.
