Triple H discusses NXT, fan complaints and more

WWE Executive Vice President of talents and creative Triple H, recently held a conference call that covered a range of topics from WWE NXT “Takeover London” to the current reception of NXT among fans and more – reports dailywrestlingnews.

The former wrestler stated that he’s extremely thrilled about the way NXT has gone down with fans and is estatic about taking the brand to the UK for the first time in its history. He finds the brand’s 3pm EST time slot perfect and stated that the UK fans will appreciate getting a special in their usual primetime slot.

HHH also stated that “Takeover: London” will act as the launchpad for more specials in other countries, while citing the success of “Beast In the East”.

Triple H reserved praise for Asuka, Emma and NXT Tag Team Champions Dash and Dawson, whom he predicts big things from. Good words were also used by HHH on Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady, whom received praised from the executive for having more charishma than their peers, as well as Apollo Crew, Baron Corbin and Samoa Joe.

The 46-year-old also stated that he has high hopes for 2016, which has some exciting things in store for NXT fans, while also revealing that 2015 had exceeded his expectations.

When asked about old school elements in NXT that we don’t appear on the main roster like a talent being upset one week and coming out alright the next week, HHH said there are different philosophies but both remain extremely relevant.

Addressing the injuries that have plagued the brand, HHH was asked if they considered calling Balor up to the main roster, but stated that Balor would appear when the time was right. Balor himself is focusing on NXT and has no intention of rushing things.

Coming to the subject of cutting RAW to 2 hours and giving the third hour to NXT on another NBC network on Wednesday nights, HHH said that it’s special being on the WWE Network and its programming draws in viewers.

The wrestler also brought up the hit TV show The Sopranos, which was also on a pay channel during its run and it never caused his show har. However, he said that if his colleagues thought otherwise, he would support it 100%.
