Vince McMahon on subscriptions, Kalisto injured?, ROH angers WWE

Kevin Owens with a flying Senton on Kalisto

– Kevin Owens has been facing a variety of opponents the last few weeks. He has faced both the members of the Lucha Dragons, Kalisto and Sin Cara. While he defeated both of them with a pop-up powerbomb, there was a scare that he may have injured Kalisto during one of the spots.

Kalisto faced Owens in a fun match on the October 12 episode of RAW, where Owens won. It was later revealed that Kalisto had a knot on the back of his head which may have been caused during the match. But the injury scare was temporary as Kalisto seems to be fit now.

This will come as a great news for the fans who loved to see Kalisto perform in the ring. Kalisto brings an exciting Lucha wrestling style to the ring and is applauded by all for the fast paced action.

– Since the last few weeks, the viewership for RAW has hit an all time low. The main blame is on the WWE creative team who have been forcing stale feuds and superstars down the throats of the fans. It was learned that Vince McMahon has been micro-managing backstage and has been disappointed with the recent goings-on.

He fears that a lot of fans would cancel their subscriptions to the WWE Network. With this threat looming, it was necessary for the WWE to take some decisions. It is thought that this is the exact reason why Vince McMahon announced that Lesnar would be facing the Undertaker in the last match of their feud at Hell in a Cell. This announcement was made during the Night Of Champions PPV and it is believed it was made to halt the fans from canceling their subscriptions.

– Ring of Honor, the wrestling promotion, had a show in Texas during the Night Of Champions week. NXT also had a show scheduled at the exact time. WWE officials have been worried of the fact that Ring of Honor drew more crowd than NXT.

WWE currently has superstars who have been in ROH including the likes of Owens, Rollins and others. But it is believed that in recent times, the WWE have lost some credibility and has led to some wrestlers signing contracts with Ring of Honor than with the WWE.
