It's finally happened. Seth Rollins has finally turned heel and aligned with AOP on WWE RAW. The former Universal Champion is currently in a feud with Kevin Owens, which could probably extend until next month's Royal Rumble PPV.

With Rollins now turning heel, there are endless possibilities and feuds that could happen on RAW. The Beastslayer's next feud after Owens will most likely be a long-term one that could set-up his match for WrestleMania 36, which will take place in April.

Let's take a look at 5 opponents for Seth Rollins after turning heel:

#5 Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio has had a surprising few months in WWE. After re-signing with the company last year, the WWE legend didn't have much going for him and was a mid-card player, before entering into a feud with Brock Lesnar. While the feud was to set-up the arrival of Cain Velasquez to WWE, it also helped Mysterio get a shot at Lesnar's WWE Championship.

Mysterio probably has just a few years remaining in WWE having turned 44 years of age recently, which means that WWE should take the opportunity to book him in a match with Seth Rollins.

Rollins and Mysterio have never had a singles match, and it would be a pity if this feud did not happen. Mysterio always has memorable feuds when he's the underdog, which he would be facing not just Rollins, but AOP by The Beastslayer's side as well.

Mysterio is the current United States champion, but I have a feeling that this potential feud between Rollins and The Master Of The 619 may not happen when he has the US title around his waist.

This is a match worthy to be on the WrestleMania card and one that would get many fans invested in the feud.

#4 Ricochet

Ricochet

Ricochet is perhaps one of the most exciting new Superstars in WWE and is one that's destined to the top. He has quickly risen through the ranks, and was promoted to the main roster just a year after joining WWE and wrestling on NXT.

The former United States Champion is set to have a long run as a babyface, which makes it perfect for him to be set-up with heel Rollins on RAW, and maybe at WrestleMania.

Both Superstars are athletically gifted and could put on an intense match with high-flying moves, speed and tenacity. Both of them have worked their way up the indie circuit, in fact wrestling against each other way back in 2006, when Rollins went by the ring name Tyler Black.

They have not yet had a feud on WWE television, but it's only a matter of time before these two lock horns inside a WWE ring. This feud could very well be the making of Ricochet, one that could perhaps get him a chance to face off for a top title in WWE.

#3 Aleister Black

Aleister Black, like Ricochet, was brought to the main roster at the start of the year, and like Ricochet, he had a great start to his main roster career. But, WWE seem to not have anything for him creatively, which, sort of, derailed his push.

Black was moved to SmackDown after the Superstar Shake-Up, before being brought back to the Red brand during the WWE Draft. He is currently in a feud with Buddy Murphy, whom he will face at TLC.

But - with all due respect to Murphy - Black needs to be feuding with someone of a higher calibre, and one that can advance his WWE career... like Seth Rollins. The former NXT Champion is a delight to watch in the ring and his dark persona could go well with the loudmouth personality that Rollins is portraying right now.

Black needs to get his main roster career back on track as he's being wasted on RAW at the moment. This feud could very well help him as well as Rollins heading into WrestleMania season.

#2 Humberto Carrillo

Humberto Carrillo is yet another young Superstar who is touted to have a bright future, having signed with WWE last year and making his main roster debut this year. Carrillo is just 24 years of age but has already faced off against the likes of AJ Styles and Seth Rollins.

Rollins has already had one match with Carrillo, but that was when Rollins was a babyface. While Carrillo getting a WrestleMania match against Rollins in 2020 seems far too early and unlikely, The Beastslayer could perhaps have a feud with Carrillo after WrestleMania.

Carrillo and Rollins could put on great matches, but the former's mic skills are still untested, which could be a matter of concern for him and WWE. Perhaps he could get a manager, much like Andrade, or even have Rey Mysterio be his mentor/manager, similar to what he did with Cain Velasquez.

Carrillo can be the archetypal babyface who gives his all in the ring and puts his body on the line, while Rollins could adopt the cowardly heel persona.

#1 Rusev

2020 could be the make or break year for Rusev in WWE. Sure, his current feud and storyline with Bobby Lashley, where Rusev's real-life wife Lana, is in love with The All Mighty does not quite make sense and is not very entertaining. But, there's more that Rusev can offer.

When the crowd is on his side, like the Rusev Day gimmick, The Bulgarian Brute can be a phenomenal Superstar and one that the WWE Universe would back to the hilt.

That is the kind of gimmick that WWE should bring back for Rusev, and have him feud with Rollins. The fans are going to be on Rusev's side following his current storyline, and him facing off against heel Rollins could be money.

Rusev is a different type of wrestler to the four other Superstars on this list. While the others are agile and quick, Rusev is all about strength, which would be a different proposition for Rollins.

This is one feud that has the potential to be big, and WWE should try to push for it after WrestleMania.
