An enthralling contest awaits as RK-Bro and The Street Profits lock horns at WWE Day 1

In a match made only on the latest edition of Monday Night RAW, the reigning RAW Tag Team Champions RK-Bro will go toe-to-toe with The Street Profits on Day 1.

Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford won the 'RK-Bronament' finals by overcoming the father-son duo of Rey and Dominik Mysterio on the red brand. The match certainly lived up to the hype as both teams gave it their all.

The Street Profits seized the moment after hitting Dominik Mysterio with a supersized blockbuster to secure the victory and set up a date with RK-Bro as the #1 contenders for the title on the first night of 2022.

With that being said, Randy Orton and Riddle were also seen in action on RAW in singles contests against members of The Alpha Academy. The feud between these teams has certainly gathered steam over the last few weeks on RAW.

The Original Bro defeated Chad Gable whereas The Viper overcame Otis in thrilling one-on-one bouts. The team also embraced in a glorious RK-Bro hug afterwards.

The champions will now need to focus their attention on the challenge that lies ahead on the first night of 2022. In this article, we look at five potential finishes for RK-Bro vs The Street Profits on WWE Day 1:

#5 Randy Orton seals the deal with an RKO at WWE Day 1

The RKO is undoubtedly one of the most decorated finishers in WWE.

Randy Orton has used this move to great effect, putting countless opponents to rest during his coveted in-ring career. The Viper will look to use this maneuver again on Day 1 to score a pinfall for his team.

If either Ford or Dawkins are nailed with the RKO it will certainly spell curtains for The Street Profits, giving RK-Bro a well deserved victory.

#4 Montez Ford helps his team to victory with a Frog Splash at WWE Day 1

Montez Ford is an immensely gifted competitor and he would undoubtedly like to show his atheticism on Day 1.

While Angelo Dawkins serves as the muscle man for The Street Profits, Ford uses his high-flying, in-ring ability to overcome his opponents. Montez has effectively managed to hit The Frog Splash on a host of superstars and will surely look to nail Riddle or Orton with the same on Day 1.

If Ford is successful in hitting the Frog Splash, The Street Profits will undoubtedly soar to becoming RAW Tag Team Champions for a second time.

#3 Riddle helps RK-Bro retain the titles with a Floating Bro

Riddle's Floating Bro is one of the most athletic and lethal finishing moves in WWE.

The Super King of Bros has successfully used this maneuver on the likes of AJ Styles, Omos, The Dirty Dawgs (Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode) and Chad Gable in the past. He'll try to make The Street Profits the latest victim of this high-flying moonsault on Day 1.

If this happens, RK-Bro will earn a well-deserved victory to continue their dominant run as RAW Tag Team Champions.

#2 The Alpha Academy interfere and destroy RK-Bro at WWE Day 1

The rivalry between RK-Bro and Alpha Academy seems far from over and the latter could interfere in the RAW Tag Team Championship Match on Day 1.

Chad Gable and partner Otis suffered defeats in their one-on-one matches against Riddle and Randy Orton on the latest edition of RAW. Revenge will undoubtedly be in the cards for this duo as they could look to put RK-Bro to waste.

If this happens, RK-Bro will win via disqualification, albeit Alpha Academy will certainly make a statement as future contenders for the RAW Tag Team Championship.

#1 Riddle betrays Randy Orton as The Street Profits win

One would expect Randy Orton, with his history, to be the one to betray his partner, albeit WWE can plan a different twist for Day 1.

In an unexpected turn of events, Riddle could betray Orton during the bout against The Street Profits after a heated argument resulting in the champions losing their titles. WWE could portray this storyline as Riddle wanting to soar as a singles competitor, making Orton the stepping stone which caused their breakup.

A feud between a heel Riddle and a babyface Randy Orton will undoubtedly keep fans invested in 2022.
