WWE issues statement on Triple H's 'injury' status

Out hurt?

WWE Tables, Ladders & Chairs this morning saw a memorable ending with Roman Reigns going after Triple H in the climax of the show with chairshots and having him go through the Spanish announce table.

It was quite the sight as for the first time in his run as a face, Roman Reigns was unequivocally cheered on by the whole crowd in attendance as he went after ‘The Game’ with stiff chairshots.

While the attack was part of a storyline, Triple H did land in a bad way on the Spanish announce table after a powerbomb by Reigns, which wasn’t setup great. Furthermore, Triple H being the pro that he is, sold the whole thing like a A-list actor.

WWE released the following statement in response to the attack by Reigns:

BOSTON – Following Roman Reigns’ vicious attack on WWE COO Triple H at the WWE TLC pay-per-view, WWE.com has learned that The Game is being evaluated by WWE medical staff and will be observed overnight.

It remains to be seen if this is a part of the storyline or somewhere, HHH got hurt for real. It seems almost a certainty that the onscreen WWE COO will miss tonight’s episode of RAW.
