WWE Money in the Bank 2020 takes place this Sunday, May 10, the first PPV to take place after WrestleMania 36. The PPV's namesake Money in the Bank Ladder Matches will take place at the WWE global headquarters for the very first time.

The matches will begin on the ground floor and the Superstars will have to make their way up to the rooftop in order to get their hands on the coveted briefcase.

There will also be a few singles matches as WWE Champion Drew McIntyre will defend his title against Seth Rollins, Bayley will put her SmackDown Women's Championship on the line against Tamina, while The Fiend will hope to win back the Universal Championship from Braun Strowman.

Last year's Money in the Bank PPV saw Brock Lesnar make a shocking return; which Superstars could return this time around?

Let's take a look at 5 Superstars who could return at Money in the Bank 2020:

#5 Sarah Logan

Sarah Logan was one of many Superstars to be released by WWE last month, but WWE still used her name during the feud between her former Riott Squad members, Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan. Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer revealed that WWE had planned to use Logan on RAW a few weeks ago.

Meltzer revealed how Logan was to be used on RAW despite being released by the company:

“So, the deal is for some of this talent, and Drake Maverick’s another one, it’s like, since they’re getting paid for 90 days, some of them will continue to be booked. The mentality is they can use her for another 90 days, and she was going to be on the show."

If WWE still plans to use the likes of Logan, they could have her interfere and help a Superstar win the match, which could most likely be in the women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match. The only issue is that neither Riott or Morgan are in the Ladder Match, which could pose a problem as to how and where Logan could be used at Money in the Bank.

#4 AJ Styles

Former WWE Champion AJ Styles has not been seen on WWE television since his match against The Undertaker at WrestleMania 36. Styles, who lost the first-ever Boneyard match, could be returning soon to WWE television, as per Post Wrestling.

Styles will be without his OC buddies, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, who were released by WWE last month. The duo were an important part of Styles' heel persona, which makes me wonder if the former WWE Champion will return as a babyface after his "burial" at the hands of The Undertaker.

There's one spot remaining in the men's Money in the Bank ladder match, following Apollo Crews' withdrawal from the match due to injury. We could perhaps see Styles be added to the match, where he will face Daniel Bryan, Aleister Black, Rey Mysterio, Otis, and King Corbin.

His former rival Shinsuke Nakamura also teased a rematch with Styles. Styles could also challenge current WWE Champion Drew McIntyre, following the Scottish Psychopath's match against Seth Rollins at Money in the Bank.

#3 Becky Lynch

Like AJ Styles, RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch has also not been on WWE television since WrestleMania 36. The Man defeated Shayna Baszler to retain her title, which she has now held for over a year, since defeating Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 35.

Lynch has been in the news lately for her acting rather than her wrestling, as she recently made a cameo appearance on the TV show, Billions. There have been reports that she and another top Superstar are rumored to have offers from Hollywood.

In a recent interview with TV Insider, Lynch spoke about her time away from WWE, while also revealing whom she would like to face. The RAW Women's Champion said that Asuka was one of her favorite opponents and that she would want to face her again.

With Asuka, as well as her last opponent Shayna Baszler, in the Women's Money in the Bank ladder match, we could maybe see Lynch arrive after the match to send a message to the winner of the match.

#2 Randy Orton

Randy Orton had a long and grueling match at WrestleMania 36, where his bitter and personal feud with Edge came to an end. Orton lost that match which lasted 36 minutes at The Show of Shows.

Orton, who has won the Money in the Bank Ladder Match once, back in 2013, could make a return this Sunday, and be the sixth and final competitor in the match. WWE could withhold the name of the sixth competitor until the match starts, which would add a lot of suspense to the match.

The Apex Predator would be a great addition to the match, which has veterans like Rey Mysterio and Daniel Bryan, as well as younger Superstars like Otis and Aleister Black. This match could also be a great way for Orton to begin a feud with someone like Aleister Black, and help push Black on the Red brand.

The other option is to have Orton begin a feud with WWE Champion Drew McIntyre, which would be a fantastic feud and a match that could happen at SummerSlam.

#1 Edge

Edge had his first singles match in WWE since his return to the company at WrestleMania 36 against Randy Orton. The WWE Hall of Famer is most likely on a part-time deal, which will see him work at big PPVs, and be involved in feuds with big-name Superstars.

So, what's next for Edge after Orton? Could he potentially be the last Superstar to enter the men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match? That's possible, considering the epic ladder matches that Edge has been involved in the past in WWE.

In an interview with ESPN last month, Edge revealed a list of Superstars that he wants to face in WWE:

"AJ Styles and Edge has to happen. Guy like Roman Reigns, man, he's special. Seth Rollins has to happen. Kevin Owens, Cesaro, Nakamura, Sami Zayn, Aleister Black for sure, Matt Riddle, WALTER, Tommaso Ciampa, Velveteen Dream."

No one really knows when Roman Reigns will return to WWE, while Kevin Owens is currently injured. Rollins is in a feud with McIntyre, while the likes of Cesaro, Nakamura, and Zayn haven't got a big push recently to prime them for a match against a legend like Edge.

I think that a match against AJ Styles, or perhaps even Daniel Bryan, could be what's in store for Edge... maybe the ladder match is where the seeds are sown.
