Smackdown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan has revealed in a recent podcast interview that the two draft picks that excited him the most: Dean Ambrose and AJ Styles.
This may not come as too much of a surprise to many, as they were the first two draft picks of Smackdown Live. They were the answer to Raw’s first two picks: Seth Rollins and Charlotte. However, he insists that these were the two that excited him the most despite getting veterans Randy Orton and John Cena, who is the face of the company.On the Bear Hug It Out podcast, Bryan admitted that while getting the WWE World Champion was important to him, getting AJ Styles was just as important.

Bryan and Styles go way back, having first wrestled each other back in 2003, which was 13 years ago, so Bryan and AJ have a close friendship behind the scenes as well.
