WWE News: Sasha Banks reacts to Alicia Fox being fined by WWE

What’s the story?

Former WWE Divas Champion Alicia Fox was fined by WWE earlier today after getting into a brawl with Sasha Banks backstage on Raw, during the brawl Fox also decided to put her hands on a referee and shoved the official. WWE later announced on their Twitter account that Alicia is being fined by the company for putting her hands on an official.

It did not take long for Sasha Banks to respond to it, as “The Boss” also took it to Twitter and reacted to the news of Fox being fined by the WWE.

In case you didn’t know…

On this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, Sasha and Alicia went head-to-head that saw Sasha get the win over Fox via a Bank Statement. Following her victory on Raw, Sasha was being interviewed by Charly Caruso when Alicia ambushed the former Raw Women’s Champion and put brutally attacked her backstage.

After the brawl was over referee Darrick Moore tried to stop Fox from doing further damage to Sasha but the former OVW Women’s Champion decided to push Moore, which saw her get fined by WWE later in the same day.

The heart of the matter

Following the incident on Monday Night Raw, WWE announced on their official Twitter handle that Alicia Fox was being fined an undisclosed amount of money for pushing referee Darrick Moore.

Fox’s rival Sasha Banks then reacted to the tweet, by tweeting out and claiming that she wants to know how much Fox was being fined by the company.

However, despite all of this we still haven’t seen any sort of reaction from Fox herself regarding the fine and to Sasha’s reply.

What’s next?

WWE would then go on to book another match between Sasha Banks and Alicia Fox, which is all set to take place at the TLC kick off show later this month.

Author’s take

I think this feud could get really interesting if WWE properly invests in it and completely gets behind both the ladies.

It is great to see Alicia finally get some TV time because in my opinion, she is really talented and hopefully the creative team won’t let Sasha completely squash Alicia at TLC and instead gives us a great match, which these two ladies are completely capable of.

As far as the fine goes, I think Fox’s frustration got the better out of her which led her to shove the ref and WWE made the correct call by deciding to hit her with a fine.
