Triple H makes a huge Survivor Series announcement on Monday Night RAW

What's the story?

On this week's Monday Night RAW, Kurt Angle, the Monday Night RAW General Manager went to the ring to make an announcement about the status of his story-line son Jason Jordan heading into Survivor Series. Triple H returned to television to sensationally announce that he'll be replacing Jordan on the RAW Traditional Survivor Series team.

In case you didn't know...

Earlier on in the night, Kurt Angle announced his plans to bring Team RAW together, Samoa Joe and Finn Balor teamed-up together, Braun Strowman faced Kane in the main event and Jason Jordan was given a chance to justify his inclusion in the team by facing Bray Wyatt.

During his match with 'The Eater of Worlds' Jordan appeared to pick up a leg injury, but still managed to triumph over a returning Bray Wyatt with a surprise roll-up victory. Wyatt attacked Jordan even more, focussing on the leg injury, exacerbating it.

The heart of the matter

Following Jordan's obvious injury, Kurt Angle made his way to the ring and announced that he was about to make a hard decision regarding Survivor Series, but as the RAW General Manager, it was a decision he had to make.

Jordan then made his way slowly out to the ring, pleading with his father not to drop him from the team as this was his opportunity to wrestle at Survivor Series, one of the 'Big Four' PPVs, against some of the best in the world, alongside his father.

Stephanie McMahon then interrupted and told Angle to stop wasting time and make the announcement, however, the 'Olympic Gold Medalist' couldn't bring himself to do it so 'The Game' Triple H made his way down to the ring and told Angle that if he couldn't make the announcement, he would do it himself - 'The King of Kings' would be replacing the injured Jason Jordan at Survivor Series.

What's next?

The men's Traditional Survivor Series match is one of the most stacked matches I have ever seen in terms of match talent. Here's the current line-up, which at this point is unlikely to change.

This Sunday, Kurt Angle will lead Braun Strowman, Samoa Joe, Finn Balor and Triple H to take on Shane McMahon, John Cena, Randy Orton, Shinsuke Nakamura and Bobby Roode, with Angle's job on the line if he loses.

Author's take

Well, colour me pleasantly surprised. I was willing to give Jason Jordan a chance in the Survivor Series match but I'm more than okay with Triple H entering the match instead.

Hopefully, this is the start of Jordan's heel turn, with Angle's son turning on his father at Survivor Series.
