WWE News: What happened after RAW 16 May, 2016 went off air?

Dean had the last laugh tonight

Detractors would call today’s episode of RAW unimpressive just because it signed off with a contract signing-cum-throwdown between two of the top performers in the company, who just happen to be women.

But overall it was a satisfying show, considering that it is the go-home to Extreme Rules. The match between the four men involved in the Intercontinental Championship match, the Styles-Reigns feud and above all, the Ambrose-Jericho bombshell aided by the other segments, held together the show.

Needless to say, the WWE Universe will be licking its lips in anticipation of the first-ever Asylum match in history. Locking in a steel cage two performers who are capable of putting on five star matches, along with weapons, is something the Creative team can pat itself on the back for. Hopefully they’ll cross a few lines in this ‘New Era’ contest.

What happened after RAW played aperitif to the match at Extreme Rules when Chris Jericho came back out and started insulting Greensboro. He then demanded that Dean Ambrose come out and apologize for destroying his jacket.

Y2J got half his wish, as the Lunatic Fringe returned to the ring as requested but then went on to trash talk before attacking Jericho with a Kendo stick. According to wrestlinginc.com, a lot of people left the arena in the midst of the main event so they could avoid being stranded in traffic.
