WWE Payback did not boast of the most mouth-watering card and predictable outcomes didn't help in building the required hype for the PPV. However, the matches surely delivered and once again WWE managed to get the length of the show spot on.

Every title on the line at Payback changed hands as we witnessed a few surprising results on the night. WWE generally lays down the breadcrumbs for potential storylines during their shows and here as well, there are a few things left for fans to ponder.

On that note, let us look at the five biggest questions after Payback 2020.

#5 Will Sasha Banks and Bayley split up after the events of Payback 2020?

After ruling the roost on RAW and SmackDown as Bayley Dos Straps and 2 Beltz Banks, the Golden Role Models have seen their momentum chipping away since SummerSlam. Firstly, Sasha Banks failed to defend her RAW Women's Championship against Asuka and now, the duo has dropped their tag team titles to Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax.

The visuals following the match displayed an exasperated Bayley as an annoyed Banks continuously glanced at her best friend. That staredown might itself be an Easter Egg that The Legit Boss has had enough. After all, it was Bayley who didn't come to her rescue at SummerSlam and at Payback too it was her who tapped out.

Both the Superstars hold a grand total of one championship right now and Banks had admitted earlier that she was jealous of Bayley because she held more titles. So will this be reason enough for dissension between the duo?

Another question that's yet to be answered is who will turn face to make this match happen if that indeed is the route WWE wants to take. We'll find out the answer only on the next iteration of SmackDown.

#4 What's next for Keith Lee after winning at Payback?

Keith Lee has had an interesting transitional phase on RAW. In just a week since moving on from NXT, The Limitless One has challenged and successfully defeated Randy Orton at a pay-per-view. He's surely gained the attention of even the casual viewers with this dominating win at Payback.

The question arises though, what's the payoff of letting Lee defeat the most sadistic heel on the Red brand? Will he progress to the top of the card immediately? Will he be in for a title shot?

It's highly likely that when Night of Champions rolls around, we'll see Orton and Drew McIntyre square off for the WWE Championship again. Now, it's fairly known that The Viper wants to go on title runs, so if he overcomes McIntyre, will Keith Lee be afforded a title opportunity?

Not many expected to see the former NXT Champion come up trumps in such a resounding manner at Payback, but now that he has, we can expect exciting things from him in the near future.

#3 Will Apollo get his hands on the US title again after losing at Payback?

Apollo Crews really carved out a name for himself with amazing displays in the weeks after WrestleMania which eventually resulted in him winning the United States Championship from Andrade. Cut to a few months later, and he needs to start from scratch again after losing his title to Bobby Lashley at Payback.

Apollo attacked Lashley after the match and vowed that he'll somehow get his title back, but it's difficult to predict whether WWE will give him another run.

Apollo is amongst the most gifted performers in the entire WWE, but in-ring skills alone have rarely cut it for a Superstar in the long run. Apollo's had a start-stop situation at best, while his character work hasn't been convincing enough.

The former United States Champion has resorted to sneak attacks several times during his feud with The Hurt Business, including at Payback. That's not a common sight for a babyface either.

#2 How will Seth Rollins respond to Murphy's mistake at Payback?

Seth Rollins was in command against Rey and Dominik Mysterio at Payback before a serious blunder from Murphy shifted the momentum in favor of their opponents.

A quick retaliation by Rey saw Murphy kick the Monday Night Messiah in the face and then the father-son duo took over proceedings to win the match. It was the disciple who had to eat the pin as well. Rollins was obviously frustrated with this mistake and that could lead to something in the coming weeks.

We can consider the feud between Rollins and the Mysterios to reach its end on Monday night. The arc has come to a convincing conclusion so both the sets of Superstars need to get a move on after Payback. WWE might already have the solution to this.

So while Seth Rollins can forgive Murphy for his error, this opportunity can be used to start a feud between the master and the apprentice. We've seen WWE go down this road several times in the past so it wouldn't be too surprising either. At the same time, nothing can be taken for granted.

#1 Did Bray Wyatt turn face at Payback 2020?

WWE is really going down a twisted road with "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt. With Braun Strowman conceding most of the blows towards the end of the Universal Championship match at Payback including the pin, we can consider him to be out of the title picture.

This leaves us with Roman Reigns and Wyatt. Now Reigns has clearly established himself as a heel after partnering with Paul Heyman and trying to take advantage of both Strowman and Wyatt beating each other up. But what's up with The Fiend though?

Wyatt was on the receiving end of a Low Blow towards the end of the title match at Payback, but can that alone be considered as enough to suggest that he's a babyface now? Perhaps not.

Given that the camera cut to Alexa Bliss watching the Universal Championship match with intent, we know that she'll be involved in the storyline somewhere down the line. Maybe that will decide how The Fiend's character will take shape in the coming weeks, but we'll have to wait and see how things pan out.
