WWE Raw: 4 things the company subtly told us on the last episode before WrestleMania 35 (1 April 2019)

An action-packed RAW before WrestleMania
An action-packed RAW before WrestleMania

With less than a week left for the Grandest Stage of Them All, it was the final episode of the flagship show before the biggest wrestling event of the year. Since it was the last episode before the Showcase of Immortals, several brawls were expected. RAW did not disappoint us as it had some impressive segments and bouts.

The Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar, showed up on RAW but the challenger, Seth Rollins, stood tall while Finn Balor announced the return of his alter ego, as the Demon Balor will take on Bobby Lashley in New Jersey. Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair had a colossal brawl as the three women started to tussle after beating the Riott Squad.

Meanwhile, Rey Mysterio was scheduled to face Kurt Angle, but the match got removed when the former met Baron Corbin in the main event of the night. Drew McIntyre assaulted Roman Reigns before their colossal battle at Metlife Stadium, while Batista appeared to send a message to Triple H.

Furthermore, the RAW tag team titles were on the line, but Revival defeated Ricochet and Aleister Black by count out.

Here we discuss four things WWE secretly told us on RAW this week.

#4 Demon Balor could win the Intercontinental Title

Lashley should be prepared for the Demon Balor
Lashley should be prepared for the Demon Balor

Finn Balor announced to bring back the Demon King at the Grandest of Them All. It was undoubtedly one of the best moments on RAW this week as the alter ego has gigantic popularity in the WWE Universe. We haven't seen the Demon Balor for an extended period, and WrestleMania is an ideal time to bring back the Demon persona.

Balor and Lashley have been involved in a lengthy feud which began after Royal Rumble. The rivalry might end at the Show of Shows. Earlier, Balor won the Intercontinental belt from Lashley, but he did not have a long title reign.

The Demon King's last appearance was at SummerSlam last year when he defeated Baron Corbin. Considering the track record of Demon Balor, he has a bright chance to reclaim the Intercontinental Title.

#3 Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre might steal the show

It should be extraordinary
It should be extraordinary

The match card of WrestleMania 35 is looking impressive as it has some remarkable bouts. The match between Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre could stand out from the rest, as it will be a clash of Titans. The build-up of the match has been imposing, and they are anticipated to produce an extraordinary bout at the Grandest Stage of Them All.

Drew McIntyre has been the focal point of RAW for the last few weeks. He attacked Roman Reigns backstage on RAW this week. The Scottish Psychopath dismantled the other two Shield members before challenging the Big Dog at the Show of Shows.

Earlier, McIntyre set out to destroy the Shield, and he could obtain this if he manages to pin Roman Reigns in New Jersey. Reigns will walk into Metlife Stadium to defend the legacy of the Shield.

Considering the current biggest heel of the red brand will tussle with the biggest babyface of Vince McMahon's billion dollar company, the match is bound to be spectacular. The two men are swift in the squared circle, and they are competent enough to offer a great bout.

#2 Undertaker might miss WrestleMania after 19 years

The Phenom
The Phenom

It is a shame that the participation of Undertaker is in serious jeopardy as the Phenom did not appear on RAW this week. Considering WrestleMania is five days away, several fans expected the return of the legendary superstar in the squared circle. Undertaker's last appearance was at Crown Jewel when he teamed up with Kane to take on DX.

There is no denying that Undertaker has been one of the primary attractions of the Grandest Stage of Them All. The Phenom participated in 26 WrestleMania matches in his illustrious career, and his current WrestleMania record is 24-2. Though some top-notch bouts are set to take place at Metlife Stadium, Undertaker's absence could be a big blow for the company.

The 54-year old missed WrestleMania 16 as he was sidelined due to injury. Hence, he could miss the Show of Shows for the first time in 19 years.

#1 Brock Lesnar could retain the Universal Title

Rollins and Lesnar on RAW
Rollins and Lesnar on RAW

The Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar, showed up on the final RAW before WrestleMania 35, as the Beast Incarnate will put the title on the line at the Grandest Stage of Them All. As a matter of fact, Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins had a face-off, and the latter attacked the Champion. Though Lesnar delivered a Suplex, the challenger stood tall.

A superstar usually loses the actual match if he stands tall a week before the match. We might see the same scenario in New Jersey after Rollins dominated Lesnar this week. Moreover, the build-up of the match has not been exciting as the Champion did not appear on RAW regularly.

Without a shadow of a doubt, Brock Lesnar is the most marketable superstar of Vince McMahon's billion dollar company, and the Chairman could go to any extent to keep Lesnar after the Showcase of Immortals. Considering Lesnar's last Universal title reign lasted 504 days, we might see another lengthy title reign.
