The Beast Incarnate could be in for a major surprise on WWE RAW.
The Beast Incarnate could be in for a major surprise on WWE RAW.

Listen, the episode of WWE RAW that follows Day 1 should be one for the ages. Nobody expected Brock Lesnar to become the new WWE Champion following the event, including Vince McMahon only a few days ago.

But now the landscape of the company has shifted for good, and so many surprises could potentially transpire during the show. A few of those classic twists and turns will be listed down in this article.

Be sure to mention your own list of surprises for WWE RAW in the comments. Also, weigh in on the surprises that have been mentioned here. The comments section is your friend so you may express your unfiltered opinions with fellow wrestling fans!

#5 The WWE RAW Tag Team Champion confronts Brock Lesnar

One-half of the WWE RAW Tag Team Champions Randy Orton has a score to settle with Brock Lesnar. Do you remember the clash where he was busted open with 'shoot' blows to his head? On this week's episode of the red brand, The Viper and Brock Lesnar could certainly come to blows.

WWE may not want to go to the Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley feud immediately and may wish to save it for The Show of Shows. As a result of the same, a makeshift Randy Orton vs. Brock Lesnar feud is a great way to keep the audience engaged and invested on the road to WrestleMania.

Riddle, who has previously taken many a shot at The Beast Incarnate, could also be inserted into the program.

Some fans may lament the inclusion of two veterans into the WWE RAW main event picture instead of new blood. But sometimes familiarity breeds intrigue, especially if there's a story still waiting to be told.

#4 Beth Phoenix confronts the WWE RAW Women's Champion

WWE RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch has made it clear that she has Beth Phoenix in her crosshairs. With Edge defeating The Miz at Day 1, it doesn't make sense to do a mixed tag team match.

The feud seems done and dusted, and it allows The Glamazon to potentially step into the RAW Women's Championship picture. This past vs. present showdown could definitely be one for the ages.

#3 Paul Heyman introduces his brand new client - Omos

With all due respect to the colossus Omos, the split with AJ Styles may do him more harm than good. While he has some microphone skills, it may make a lot more sense to pair him up with an established manager like Paul Heyman, to launch him into the stratosphere.

It may eventually lead to a Brock Lesnar vs. Omos showdown, which should be very interesting indeed. With Heyman by his side on WWE RAW and in media appearances, the behemoth is a surefire future world champion.

#2 Alexa Bliss shows up to face off against Becky Lynch for her title

The WWE RAW Women's Championship picture could heat up with the addition of yet another talented young woman to the title mix. Someone Becky Lynch knows quite well, the twisted Alexa Bliss.

Only Big Time Becks may not be familiar with the doll-wielding, witchy ways of the current incarnation of Little Miss Bliss. It may not even be the worst idea in the world to have the title switch hands to make things interesting.

#1 Dolph Ziggler has a massive WWE RAW moment this week

The United States Championship match on WWE RAW last week actually saw Dolph Ziggler win the contest through disqualification. He could easily go up to Adam Pearce this week and demand a shot at the title that Damian Priest so proudly holds.

What would be really interesting is if Ziggler was able to capture the title on this particular occasion. It would free Priest up to move on to the WWE Championship picture and potentially win the Royal Rumble match.
