Randy Orton and Alexa Bliss stared each other down this week
Randy Orton and Alexa Bliss stared each other down this week

WWE RAW this week had its moments but the main question is whether or not it held our attention for the span of three hours. This reviewer's experience may be different from yours, which is why you are welcome to share your WWE RAW experience in the comments section right below.

Did the good on WWE RAW outweigh the bad, was the 'best' better than the 'worst', you ask? There were points during this episode where it certainly did seem so, and there were other points during WWE RAW where it seemed like it did seem to drag.

How would you rate it as compared to the previous week's show, reader?

#1 Best: WWE RAW stars AJ Styles and Drew McIntyre will finally have their big match

Back when AJ Styles was a member of the SmackDown roster and Drew McIntyre was on WWE RAW, he had said the following during an interview with Fansided:

A.J. Styles certainly floats around the top of the list, and he's currently on SmackDown, unfortunately, but he and I have been like ships in the night for the past few years. When I was gone from the company, he was the biggest star for years, independent wrestling, and he was in Japan at the time, and there was a chance we were going to be the same company and things didn't work out, and then a bunch of independent companies decided to book us together, and timing didn't work out.

It finally seems like the match between AJ Styles, a top heel on WWE RAW, and Drew McIntyre, the top babyface in WWE, across both brands, will take place at long last for the WWE Championship and the match should be absolutely 'phenomenal'.

Throw in the wild card, The Miz, and you have the recipe for a dream feud.

#1 Worst: Reckoning loses her mask on WWE RAW and oh horror, it is NXT star, Mia Yim!

Look, it should come as no surprise to anyone if you're over the age of ten, but the character of WWE RAW Superstar Reckoning from RETRIBUTION is played by Mia Yim, who you may know from her time in WWE NXT.

What made news on this week's show is that her mask came off during her match against Dana Brooke, and that wasn't even the biggest mistake from this segment on WWE RAW, either.

What really made us scratch our heads is why they're teasing a breakup angle with Mustafa Ali threatening Reckoning so soon after RETRIBUTION arrived on WWE RAW, considering that we haven't even seen their relationship as a closely-knit group play out yet.

Do you think it was the right decision for Slapjack to go over Ricochet, one of the most promising stars in the WWE roster, on this week's edition of WWE RAW? Does it hurt him to be beaten by someone who's just arrived on WWE RAW?

#2 Best: Alexa Bliss sizes up to Randy Orton on WWE RAW despite the difference in height

Even though a lot of people on the internet seem annoyed that Alexa Bliss did not eat an RKO at the hands of Randy Orton, one has to remember that this is a different era of WWE RAW and inter-gender violence is generally frowned upon in most promotions, except for IMPACT Wrestling.

What everyone seems to be remarking about, from the opening segment on WWE RAW this week is the difference in height between Alexa Bliss and Randy Orton, but somehow, because Bliss makes up for her lack of size in terms of personality, everything just seemed to work perfectly.

Even Randy Orton has stepped up his promo ability and how, because when he spoke, every word seemed measured, ominous, and almost prophetic in a sense, and for an instance, it did seem like he would be able to rival Bray Wyatt when it comes to the art of mind games. The following episodes of RAW should be most interesting.

#2 Worst: Jeff Hardy almost gets seriously hurt on WWE RAW this week, in a pretty ghastly looking botch

WWE RAW Superstar Jeff Hardy is generally someone who has put his life on the line from the first day when he stepped in the ring, for our entertainment and pleasure. Even though he's a much older man now, he still wrestles like the young daredevil who captured our imagination all those years ago. Jeff Hardy took on Elias on WWE RAW this week, and well, not everything went according to plan.

Hardy's neck seemed like it ricocheted off the ring steps during a spot on WWE RAW and while there's been an update that says that he is okay, it was a genuinely terrifying spot.

Jeff Hardy has nothing to prove to anyone anymore and does not need to take any risks at this stage in his career, but he continues to prove to all his fans on WWE RAW, why he is one of the all-time greats. That said, we do hope he slows down.

#3 Best/Worst: Matt Riddle vs. Bobby Lashley is a great WWE RAW feud, but honestly, does Vince McMahon understand his character?

Without going into specifics, because this is a family-friendly portal, Riddle's gimmick is that he partakes in some illegal substances that may lean towards the greener side of the color spectrum. With that said, 'the king of bros' and the jokes he makes on WWE RAW every week just seem like they're not ones that someone as naturally cool as him would make, and consequently, are the penmanship of someone who's over 70 years in age.

That said, Riddle vs. Bobby Lashley for the United States Championship is exactly what the WWE RAW brand needs, especially if you consider how similar the backgrounds of both men are. Despite the ridiculous comedy that both men have performed on the WWE RAW roster, they hail from an MMA background and they can bring that to a pro wrestling environment in a fantastic manner if they're given the chance.
