WWE RAW - Best and worst- Top Superstar attacked by 2 former tag team partners, Big botch on-air, Mistake with a current Champion

No, this wasn't the best episode of WWE RAW really
No, this wasn't the best episode of WWE RAW really

Man, WWE RAW this week wasn't very good at all. The absence of top stars like Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt has really sucked the wind out of the product, making the three hours a chore to really sit through.

Yes, WWE RAW is a lot of fun in small doses, and that's why so many people you meet these days say that they watch the entire show on YouTube. There is no sense of continuity throughout the show and it just feels like a lot of different parts put together, not forming a bigger picture.

This is obviously one person's opinion, and if you somehow enjoyed WWE RAW this week feel free to tell us about it in the comments.

#3 Best/Worst: We finally get Drew McIntyre vs. Jinder Mahal on WWE RAW this week

We all know that Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal used to be the best of friends once upon a time, as a part of 3MB. What we may not remember is Jinder Mahal's muscle on WWE RAW, Veer, also teamed up with Drew McIntyre at Superstar Spectacle. Incidentally, in that encounter, Jinder Mahal was on the opposite side.

It's a different story on WWE RAW with Jinder Mahal, effectively turning into the Jinder-taker arriving on his motorcycle. Yes, it's great to see the two 3MB members slugging it out because they definitely had chemistry. But we could do without the sword stealing!

Honestly, let's do away with the 'storytime with Drew McIntyre' segments! This author has had the good fortune of interviewing the Scotsman several times, and he's a cool, pleasant guy. Something that does not come across in these storytelling segments at all.

If anything, they make him seem unlikeable and extremely nerdy, something he's not!

#2 Best: WWE RAW star Riddle has a bright future

As drab as WWE RAW can be at times, every time Riddle comes on, things just seem to brighten up, don't they? Yes, he plays the stereotypical 'dude' with an affinity for all things 'green' but he is extremely entertaining indeed.

And sure, he is a great worker, but he just mixes things up on WWE RAW like in the clip shared above. Vince McMahon clearly has huge plans for him, which is why he is featured so prominently on the show.

#2 Worst: Who is Nikki Jax?

Nikki Jax wasn't even the worst botch this month because WWE Dynamite easily takes the honor. It's easy to overlook Jim Ross's botch because of his age, but WWE RAW announcer Jimmy Smith doesn't have the same legacy, and the internet wasn't as forgiving.

Also, did Nikki Ash have to be the person to take the pin on WWE RAW this week? After all, they had been building her along so well until this point. It was a weird booking all along.

#1 Best: The Jaxson Ryker build

You may not like the guy, but Jaxson Ryker has appeared like a beast on WWE RAW over the past few weeks. He's one of the few guys on the roster who is protected and could, in time, be a formidable opponent for someone like Sheamus or Lashley!

#1 Worst: What is the WWE RAW Women's Champion doing?

Jinder Mahal may have stolen Drew McIntyre's sword, but it was WWE RAW Women's Champion Rhea Ripley and Charlotte Flair who had a sword fight with crutches on this week's show.

WWE has done a commendable job in creating new stars in Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley. But their material since their big wins has been weak, to say the very least. This week's WWE RAW segment was quite embarrassing and absolutely took away any interest in the feud whatsoever.
