RAW after SummerSlam Preview: 2 more top stars to form tag team and win titles, SmackDown star to tease brand change?

Bobby Lashley and Logan Paul will be on RAW

Welcome to the RAW after SummerSlam 2021 preview! It was a fun edition of The Biggest Party of the Summer, although it was the SmackDown side that made the bigger headlines.

That shouldn't be too surprising as the Blue brand had bigger matches at the event. Even then, RAW had three title changes and it seems to be a fresh page after the biggest pay-per-view of 2021.

This episode of the Red brand is going to be an important one. Usually, it's common to see returns and big debuts on RAW post-SummerSlam and this could be the same. However, without much knowledge about the potential returns, let's look at the aftermath of SummerSlam and what you should be looking forward to on the show tonight!

#5. Nikki A.S.H. and Rhea Ripley face Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler on RAW

It's a high-stakes tag team match on RAW
It's a high-stakes tag team match on RAW

Nikki A.S.H. couldn't replicate the magic at SummerSlam 2021 as Charlotte Flair dethroned her to win the RAW Women's Championship again. Rhea Ripley had a role in the match too, but she seemed to have been left out of the mix in the overall story despite being directly involved in the triple threat match.

Either way, Flair is the new champion now and it only took a month for Nikki's incredible run to end. She will be looking to bounce back as she teams up with Ripley to face former women's tag team champions Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax on RAW.

It's going to be an interesting match-up. Baszler and Jax haven't been on good terms, especially since Reggie was booted out. Since then, it's the latter who has impressed the fans a lot more.

Either way, Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax will have to get on the same page to face the team of Nikki A.S.H. and Rhea Ripley. Despite their rivalry for the women's title this past month, Ripley has always seemed to get along well with Nikki.

This could translate to chemistry and the formation of another tag team. Not only this, but a win for Nikki A.S.H. and Rhea Ripley could mean they get right into the tag team title mix.

Natalya and Tamina have been the women's tag team champions for a few months now and their reign could ultimately end at the hands of the newly-formed tag team on RAW.

#4. What's next for Bobby Lashley on RAW?

Bobby Lashley is still your WWE Champion heading into RAW after successfully defending the title against Goldberg at SummerSlam 2021. It was a slightly controversial victory.

MVP was the difference-maker as he hit the back of the Hall of Famer's leg with his cane. Lashley dominated Goldberg as we've seen him dominate other stars, making it too much for the legend to continue.

Because Goldberg was unable to continue, Bobby Lashley was declared the winner by default. There's no doubt that we will get some kind of a celebration on RAW with The All Mighty and MVP bragging about beating the former Universal Champion.

But who could be next for Lashley? We have a few suggestions here, but is his WWE title reign really under threat after the biggest win of his career? There is one possible threat and he isn't even on RAW. We're talking about Big E.

He may not even cash in the briefcase, although it would get a great reaction if he did. Big E has more motivation to go after Bobby Lashley on RAW rather than Roman Reigns on SmackDown.

Lashley destroyed and squashed Big E's New Day brother Kofi Kingston at Money in the Bank 2021. It would be sweet revenge, but we can see him teasing a cash-in and a move to the Red brand rather than an outright title change.

#3. "Moist TV" with Logan Paul on RAW to set up something bigger?

The Miz and John Morrison are back with another episode of Moist TV on RAW. This time, they will be hosting Logan Paul, who we last saw getting a stunner from Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 37.

Paul was seen backstage interacting with Big E before Baron Corbin interjected. He called him an a****le and left as well. So what is Logan Paul's role on RAW going to be?

Ultimately, it looks like the segment could set up a US title feud with new champion Damian Priest being the central figure. The Miz and John Morrison were looming around Priest in his US title feud on RAW before SummerSlam, hinting that they could be next in line.

If Sheamus is still to be involved, we wouldn't be surprised to see a Fatal-Four-Way direction for Extreme Rules 2021. If Logan Paul is to be involved in some capacity for the match, that would obviously give it a lot of attention. As of now, we're not sure if this is a one-off appearance for Paul or the first of a few heading into Extreme Rules.

#2. Drew McIntyre's journey back to the top continues on RAW

For Drew McIntyre, SummerSlam was a moment of retribution for Money in the Bank and the past month on RAW. Last month at the pay-per-view, McIntyre was close to capturing the briefcase for the first time in his career.

However, Veer and Shanky, on the orders of Jinder Mahal, cost him the match and another opportunity at world title gold. The feud on RAW saw Drew McIntyre constantly gain the upper hand and at The Biggest Party of the Summer, he finished the job in a matter of minutes.

For Mahal, it could be a drop back down the card on the brand. But for Drew McIntyre, he will continue to focus on his next steps to get back into title contention - all while biding his time.

Because of his loss at Hell in a Cell 2021, McIntyre can't enter WWE title contention as long as Bobby Lashley is the champion. Big E cashing in would greatly benefit the Scotsman.

With that said, we can see Drew McIntyre trying to continue to regain his momentum on RAW with various matches. He may not even be involved in a direct feud, although he should have a spot on the Extreme Rules 2021 card.

#1. RK-Bro starts a new chapter on RAW

SummerSlam opened with one of the best moments from RAW in the pay-per-view. It was RK-Bro vs. AJ Styles and Omos for the Red brand's Tag Team Championships. It was a great match and Randy Orton and Riddle showed incredible chemistry.

In the end, it was Orton who gave Styles an all-too-familiar RKO for the pin and title win. The Viper and Riddle are the new RAW Tag Team Champions. But will the state of the tag team division change under the reign of RK-Bro.

It has struggled for a long time now and there are popular champions at last. We expect some exciting matches to be made, but for now, a rematch from SummerSlam could be in order.

It could happen as a match on RAW, or WWE could build to a rematch between the two teams at Extreme Rules 2021. The Viking Raiders will also look to re-enter the picture after losing an opportunity to AJ Styles and Omos.

Will RK-Bro change the face of the tag team division on the Monday night show? Tune in tonight to find out!
