WWE releases The Great Khali

The Great Khali

The Great Khali has been released by the WWE as per confirmation given by close sources. We had reported last night that Khali was removed to the Alumni section of WWE’s official website.

It is believed that the Punjabi Giant’s contract expired last week and the company decided not to renew it. This was said not to be a surprise as there had been talk going around for a while that Khali was going to be let go from the company.

Khali worked a number of WWE live events and TV tapings since the summer. Khali’s last match was a loss to Rusev on the Halloween SmackDown.
