Where will WM35 be held?

What’s the story?

As reported by a number of reliable Twitter sources, an official announcement regarding the location of WrestleMania 35 is expected to be made by WWE within the next week.

In case you didn’t know...

There has been a great deal of speculation over where the company will decide WM35 should be, with cities like Detroit, Minneapolis & Indianapolis all being ruled out of the running in the last few months.

As many fans know, the sheer volume of fans who travel to the host city on a yearly basis means that there’s a great deal of intrigue when it comes to finding out whether or not they’ll go ahead with attending the showcase of the immortals.

The heart of the matter

According to @WrestleVotes and @TicketDrew on Twitter, who have both broken numerous stories over the last few years in the world of pro wrestling, an announcement is expected to be made about WrestleMania 35 next week.

As you can see the distance between the two supposed finalists is less than 100 miles, which matches up with recent reports that have suggested the final two bidders in the running are New York/New Jersey & Philadelphia.

What’s next?

With Raw 25 being in New York City this coming Monday, there’s a chance that the announcement could well coincide with the event. With that being said, Philadelphia has been on the cusp of hosting another Mania for years now, so all we can really do is sit and wait for just a little bit longer.

Author’s take

Given that the company usually announces the Mania host around the middle of January, this information makes sense. We personally believe that either city would serve as a fantastic host of Mania, but our gut instinct tells us that MetLife Stadium will end up being the host venue of WrestleMania 35.
