Welcome to another edition of the daily WWE Rumor Roundup, where we try and bring you the biggest rumors and stories from the world of WWE.

On today's edition, we shall take a look at current Champion's major proposal for The Undertaker, reason why Michael Cole was cussed out and screamed at and a major PPV that could return to WWE.

The Undertaker had hinted that he has retired on the recent Last Ride documentary on the WWE Network. However, many fans believe that The Deadman will return for at least one more match. And his former rival AJ Styles has laid out the perfect stipulation for The Undertaker to return.

#5 AJ Styles' challenge to The Undertaker for a return match in WWE

AJ Styles was the last opponent The Undertaker faced before allegedly retiring. The Deadman had defeated AJ Styles in a Boneyard match at WrestleMania 36.

The IC Champion AJ Styles recently spoke to BTSport and laid out a stipulation for The Undertaker's possible return match against him. The Phenomenal One noted that The Undertaker has never won the IC Championship in his career, and he'll put the title on the line for the Deadman to win.

AJ Styles is also willing to put his own career on the line against The Undertaker for one more match.

''You want me to give you one? Here's one. I'm the IC champ, Undertaker's never been the IC champ. I'll put it on the line against you, and if you freaking beat me, I'll leave WWE forever, but if I win, you leave.''

The Undertaker had expressed his desire to retire after having a regular match in front of an audience instead of a cinematic match. So it is quite possible that The Undertaker returns for another match against AJ Styles.

#4 WWE icon Triple H calls Pat McAfee a 'button pusher'

Triple H joined Pat McAfee on his show recently. The King of Kings talked about the recent incident McAfee had with former WWE NXT Champion Adam Cole. The two men had a bit of verbal fight after McAfee took a shot at Adam Cole's size.

The Undisputed Era member did not take kindly to the comments and stormed off of the show after laying out a few F-bombs. Triple H apologized on behalf of Adam Cole admitting that he was in the wrong. He also took a jibe at McAfee, who is still under a WWE contract, calling him a 'button pusher'.

"I apologize for Adam coming on your show. He is the nicest guy in the world. He comes on your show, there's an interaction where I believe Adam is being a little overly sensitive and you being Pat McAfee, a professional button pusher. You needle people for a living. I didn't ask him to put out an apology or do anything. He's a grown man responsible for his own actions" (h/t fightful)

The jury is still out on whether the whole thing was real or a work.

#2 Mick Foley reveals why Big E might be getting a major push in WWE

WWE legend Mick Foley recently uploaded a video on Twitter talking about Big E. The former WWE Champion discussed the possibility of Big E finally getting a major run as a singles Superstar. Foley believes that the reason behind WWE teasing a singles push for Big E is the dwindling ratings. He said that it is time to something fresh and give new Superstars a chance to shine.

"I've been thinking about this upcoming singles run he is going to have, and I really believe that WWE is in unprecedented times. Ratings have been dropping, and it's time to make a bold statement and go with a couple of really talented guys—people who we've had all along. So, when it comes to being successful and being at that next level, it's really about having the ability and the willingness to shift gears and get out of your comfort zone, just a little bit. The way I see it, Big E has been in this very enjoyable, really successfully holding pattern for a few years. New Day is one of the great acts in WWE history.''

Mick Foley further added that Big E truly deserves this chance as he has worked really hard over the years and could become on of the greatest ever if given the right push.

#2 Michael Cole under tremendous pressure as per WWE veteran

Michael Cole is the voice of SmackDown. The veteran announcer has been a part of the commentary booth for a long time and is the most experienced announcer in WWE today.

However, many fans believe he is just a mouthpiece for Vince McMahon and has an easy job. That is far from the truth. Arn Anderson revealed on his podcast that Michael Cole is not allowed to do his work as he is constantly screamed at and cussed out on his headphones.

Anderson goes on to say that there is just too much micromanagement that goes on in WWE. He praises Cole saying that he is one of the best at calling matches - unfortunately, he isn't allowed to do that.

''I think he does a very good job. I think he is very professional. He can call a wrestling match very well if he was left to his own devices. But there are so many things that no one understands or sees or hears that go into that. If you’re getting screamed at and cussed out over that headset, imagine how rattling that is. It is a no-win situation when every single thing that goes on is micromanaged.”

#1 More details on WWE planning another Evolution PPV

There had been some talk of WWE hosting another all-women Evolution PPV. The first show took place in 2018 and was a major hit. Not only did the show provide quality matches, but it also shattered a glass ceiling by showcasing that an all-women PPV can be such a success.

SportsKeeda's Alex McCarthy has now stated that his sources have told him that WWE is planning to hold the second Evolution PPV this year. Here is what he stated:

''Sources told me that WWE is indeed exploring the possibility of Evolution 2 and given how easy it would be to run at the Performance Center, it seems like simple, low-cost content to produce during this difficult time.''

Some major names in women's wrestling such as Former Women's Champion Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey are absent from WWE right now which might hamper the show. However, this certainly gives the younger female Superstars a chance to showcase their skills and perform on such a big scale.
