Sami Zayn injury update, Balor to make his debut?, RAW ratings fall

Sami Zayn to return soon?

– Sami Zayn is one of the best wrestlers around. Zayn who joined NXT a few years back was extremely popular as El Generico in the independent Circuit.

Zayn made an exciting debut on RAW answering one of John Cena’s open challenges for the United States Championship. Unfortunately, Zayn sustained injuries and has been unavailable to wrestle since then.

A lot of fans are excited for the return of Sami Zayn and we could see classic matches such as Zayn vs Owens exactly like the ones that took place during their stints in the independent circuit.

It has been reported by PWInsider that Zayn has started some light training at the WWE Performance Center. This could mean that Sami might make a comeback in a few months time.

But that may be a bit far-fetched as Sami was reportedly seen at the performance center but is not yet in the ring to compete in matches. It was reported by the WWE in June that Sami will be fit to compete by October.

Due to some injury setbacks suffered by Zayn, his time on the sidelines has increased by a few more months. He announced at the NXT Takeover in Brooklyn that he is doing his best in rehab and asked the fans to not hold their breath.

Finn Balor, the current NXT Champion is on the fringes of the WWE main roster. The Irishman has been an acclaimed wrestler who also boasts of his wrestling school where the likes of Becky Lynch have been trained.

A major portion of the fans are eager to see Balor on team Taker during the speculated traditional Survivor Series match.

It is heard that Finn Balor will be on several RAW live shows and Smackdown tapings after the Survivor Series. Even though his debut is imminent, it looks like he will be wrestling some dark matches on the main roster for a while.

– RAW was aired from Manchester, England this week and saw the reunion of the Brothers of Destruction.

In spite of that, the ratings which have been consistently down, hit new lows as the viewership ratings fell from 3.24 million to 3.17 million. The final rating for the show was a 2.23, down from last week’s 2.32.
