  • Pretty Deadly def. The Brawling Brutes
  • Bayley def. Zelina Vega
  • Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso def. Austin Theory & Grayson Waller to retain the Undisputed Tag Team Championship
  • LA Knight def. Solo Sikoa

John Cena kicked off the show and welcomed the crowd before Roman Reigns returned with Paul Heyman and Solo Sikoa.

Roman said that if Cena were to open the show, he better do it the right way before asking the crowd to acknowledge him.

Roman claimed he was the Greatest of All Time, not Cena. John said that he was there to acknowledge Roman, not fight him, before adding that someone else had earned the right to face him.

LA Knight walked out and said that things have changed in WWE since Roman was gone for a month and a half.

Reigns asked who he thought he was before Jimmy Uso attacked LA from behind but got taken down by Knight.

Roman walked out of the ring and told Solo on the way to forget about Cena and focus on Knight instead. Sikoa came back on the apron and challenged Knight to a match, and LA accepted it before SmackDown moved on.

WWE SmackDown Results (October 13, 2023): The Brawling Brutes vs. Pretty Deadly

Prince and Butch kicked off the match, and the latter had control early on with the small joint manipulations. Holland came in and took down both opponents with gutbusters before getting a near fall on Prince with a top rope powerslam.

Butch came in with a running knee on Wilson, who broke up the pin before dropping Butch on the apron. Prince pretended to be injured, distracting the ref before Wilson got a cheap shot on Holland, and this allowed Elton to pick up the win with a rollup.

Carlito was back for good in WWE, and Bobby Lashley ran into him backstage before welcoming him back to the show.

Carlito proposed that he should have his first match back against Lashley before the Street Profits attacked him from behind. The All Mighty was about to hit Carlito with a steel chair, but Adam Pearce came in and stopped him.

Bayley and Zelina Vega argued backstage before Adam Pearce decided to book them in a match.

Jimmy Uso was backstage with Roman and the gang, and Reigns told him that he was the one calling the shots. He added that Jey was old news and was disrespecting the Bloodline by teaming up with Cody Rhodes.

Bayley vs. Zelina Vega on SmackDown

Vega was in control early on before Bayley took her down with a clothesline. Bayley took a 619 before Vega avoided a cheap shot from Dakota.

Vega hit a Meteora before knocking IYO SKY off the apron with a modified 619. Bayley came in with a Rose Plant and picked up the win.

Result: Bayley def. Zelina Vega

Damage CTRL attacked Vega after the match, and Charlotte came out to make the save before Bayley and her team ran off.

Triple H was out next and talked about how great Adam Pearce was at running the show. Hunter said that he knew the job wasn't easy and promoted Pearce to General Manager of RAW!

HHH said he had another person in mind to appoint as the GM of SmackDown.

Dominik Mysterio walked out and complained to Trips and Adam about the tag title match tonight. Hunter said that he had to speak to the new GM of SmackDown, Nick Aldis.

Nick joined them in the ring and said that since Cody had Jey Uso moved around to RAW, SmackDown was getting a new face from the Red Brand.

Kevin Owens was the newest superstar on SmackDown and walked out before taking Dominik out with a stunner as Roman and his boys watched from backstage.

Aldis booked his first match on SmackDown backstage between Charlotte and IYO SKY for the WWE Women's Champion next week before Flair ran into Jade Cargill and Triple H backstage.

Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso (c) vs. Austin Theory & Grayson Waller - Undisputed Tag Team Title match on SmackDown

Rhodes and Waller kicked off the match, and Austin was tagged in early. Uso came in and was isolated in the ring before Rhodes came in and hit a disaster kick on Theory before catching Waller with a big move as well.

Waller and Theory took Superkicks before Austin took the Cody 1D, and Waller took a big dive from Uso to the outside. In the ring, Cody hit the Cross Rhodes on Theory and picked up the win.

Solo got the first takedown and hit some big chops in the corner before Knight got some kicks and sent Sikoa outside. Knight took some big hits and was sent into the ring post before Knight came back with a DDT and some knees in the corner.

Knight countered a Samoan Drop and hit a big slam of his own before getting an elbow drop. Solo dodged the BFT before they took each other out with double clotheslines. Jimmy Uso came in and tried to interfere, but John Cena came in and hit the AA on him.

Solo hit Cena with the Samoan Spike before Knight used the distraction to hit the BFT and pick up the win.
