Triple H opens up about Rollins injury, Reigns and more

Will Roman Reigns be the next Champion?

– The last episode of RAW opened up with Triple H appreciating why Seth Rollins was the man and that there will be a tournament for the vacated WWE Championship.

Roman Reigns who was named the Number 1 contender came out to face Triple H. Triple H was willing to give Roman the championship if he joined the Authority but Roman refused and entered the tournament defeating Big Show in the first round.

Triple H had a sit-down interview with Michael Cole and spoke about everything that unfurled.

On Seth Rollins’ injury

Triple H said that it was extremely disheartening to hear about the injury. He added that Rollins was a great champion and had everything going his way.

He said that Rollins was the Authority’s prized asset and it is unfair for him to vacate the title in such a way. He also added that Rollins perfectly knew what the situation was and he is sure that he will come back stronger to reclaim his WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

On his offer to Roman Reigns

Triple H offered the Number 1 contender, Roman Reigns the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Roman refused to join hands with Triple H even though Triple H said that he had plans for Roman even before Rollins to be the face of the company.

Triple H told Cole that the Authority was ready to put their faith in Roman Reigns and went on to say that he would have got anything that he wanted from the WWE. But when Roman chose to walk his own path towards glory, Triple H was left unamused.

On Reigns’ decision

Triple H stated that he does not understand why Roman Reigns took this decision.

Triple H said that the morals and character that Reigns shows has not gotten him anything. He added that superstars would do anything to be in his position and that the past ‘Faces’ of the WWE have given their all for the World Heavyweight Title. Triple H added that he isn't sure if Reigns can succeed with this attitude.

On reigns’ chances in the tournament

Roman Reigns had to go through Big Show during the first round of the tournament which Reigns won.

Triple H said that the whole bracket could spring up some surprises for Roman Reigns and that there were a lot of superstars like Kevin Owens, Cesaro, Alberto Del Rio that could defeat Reigns during the tournament.
