WWE WrestleMania 36: 5 matches that could be added to the card after Elimination Chamber

The Deadman is back.
The Deadman is back.

The Road to WrestleMania is always turbulent one, but this year was even more so. With Super ShowDown and Elimination Chamber now out of the way, it is smooth sailing from now until April 5th.

Five matches have officially been announced for the Show of Shows so far, involving the biggest stars in the company.

There are still a lot of matches yet to be added to the Supercard. Some of them were heavily teased at Elimination Chamber, as well as the past few weeks of RAW and SmackDown.

The next few weeks will bring a lot of clarity to the WrestleMania picture but for now, we can only guess what the picture will look like. With help from the past few days of WWE programming, we can be confident with some of these matches.

This article will not include Edge vs Randy Orton as it is too obvious. The match has been set in stone for over a month now and will be confirmed on Monday Night RAW.

Anyway, here are five matches that could be added to the WrestleMania 36 card, after Elimination Chamber.

#5 Otis vs Dolph Ziggler (Special guest referee: Mandy Rose)

It's time for OtisMania!
It's time for OtisMania!

At Elimination Chamber, Otis was able to get his hands on Dolph Ziggler. But it was the Showoff who had the last laugh after Otis crashed out of the Chamber. Ziggler has already stolen Mandy Rose from him, after suspicious circumstances surrounding a text message.

Surely though, the Heavy Machinery member will his revenge over Ziggler in the near future. That revenge could happen at WrestleMania. It will probably be on the Kickoff Show, but that wouldn't dampen the enthusiasm that the WWE Universe has shown for this angle so far.

Mandy Rose might be the special guest referee, being caught in the middle of Otis and Dolph Ziggler. Otis will probably pick up a big crushing win. Hopefully, he gets the girl as well.

#4 Kabuki Warriors vs Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross (WWE Women's Tag Team Championship)

It's been almost half a year since their last match.
It's been almost half a year since their last match.

During 'A Moment of Bliss' on SmackDown, Alexa Bliss called out the Kabuki Warriors, possibly to stake her claim for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship, along with Nikki Cross. These two were the champions when Asuka and Kairi Sane suddenly turned heel to win the titles.

Since then, the Kabuki Warriors have defended the tag titles semi-regularly, but haven't yet done so in 2020. Their first defense of the year could come against Alexa and Nikki around six months after they won the belts from them.

Natalya and Beth Phoenix could also be part of the Women's Tag Title match, but a two-on-two seems much more important for a show like WrestleMania. Hopefully, these two teams will be on the main card so we could see some special entrances.

Kairi Sane might have something to do with the pirate ship at Raymond James Stadium for her entrance, it is a golden opportunity. Also, Alexa Bliss might possibly enter to a live performance of the song titled after her, by Bowling for Soup. That would be pretty cool.

#3 Bayley vs Naomi vs Sasha Banks vs Lacey Evans vs Carmella vs Dana Brooke (SmackDown Women's Championship)

These are the top four women on SmackDown.
These are the top four women on SmackDown.

The SmackDown women's division doesn't seem as energized as it used to back in 2017, with no lead babyface for a long while. Lacey Evans was put in that position for a championship match at Royal Rumble, but she failed to win the title.

Carmella and Naomi also stepped up on SmackDown and Super ShowDown respectively, but Bayley has stood tall as the champion. Her best friend, Sasha Banks, is the most attractive option for a WrestleMania match. However, there isn't enough time to tell a proper story with the two.

Also, a Sasha vs Bayley match would get lost on a card as stacked and well-built as the one we'll be getting in April. Putting the two of them with every female babyface on the SmackDown roster might not be the most memorable match, but it would provide some serviceable action.

Evans and Naomi are the top two faces in the division, while Carmella and Dana Brooke could fill the match if WWE wants to book a 6-pack challenge for the SmackDown Women's Championship at WrestleMania.

#2 Seth Rollins vs Kevin Owens (No Holds Barred Match)

These two have been going at it for over three months.
These two have been going at it for over three months.

This match has been heavily teased for a very long time now. Ever since Seth Rollins turned heel and aligned himself with AOP, we have been getting to each story point in this epic feud piece by piece. It started with Samoa Joe joining Kevin Owens in battle, with the Big Show following suit temporarily.

And then, Buddy Murphy joined forces with Seth Rollins. For a while, the Monday Night Messiah and his disciples had been dominating RAW. Rollins and Murphy even won the RAW Tag Team Championship from the Viking Raiders.

Since then, Joe dropped out due to injury and suspension, with the Steet Profits joining the war. They even won the tag titles from Rollins and Murphy, with help from Owens. He was the lone constant in this long saga with Rollins and friends.

So now that WrestleMania is upon us, it is time for Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins to settle the score. It has to be a No DQ match of sorts, with loads of shenanigans surrounding the match. Surely, KO will get his revenge and stand tall, earning his WrestleMania moment.

The future is exciting for both, Rollins and Owens. Hopefully, this match gets enough time for both of them to shine.

#1 The Undertaker vs AJ Styles

Will these two have partners in their respective corners.
Will these two have partners in their respective corners.

Just like at Super ShowDown, The Undertaker appeared at Elimination Chamber to thwart the OC's attempts at gifting victories to AJ Styles. The Deadman has delivered justice. This time around, his interference proved to help Aleister Black gain a major victory over the Phenomenal One.

There is a possibility that 'Taker could team with Black to face the Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, especially considering his physical limitations and the fact that Black doesn't have any plans for WrestleMania as things stand.

But the likelihood will always be a singles match between the Phenom and the Phenomenal One. AJ Styles could genuinely get the best out of the Undertaker, and the two could take the fans on an epic journey with their match.

This could very well be the Deadman's best WrestleMania match since the days of the Streak. Whichever way WWE books this match, it could be epic. Undertaker even looks rejuvenated, with his last match coming at Extreme Rules in a tag match with Roman Reigns against Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre.

Hopefully, this match ends up being one of the highlights of WrestleMania. It might be the Undertaker's last great WrestleMania contest. No pressure, AJ.
