Several interesting and relatively unknown stats were created over this year's WrestleMania weekend

WrestleMania 37 took over Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida this past weekend and presented an impressive two nights of entertainment from some of the company's biggest names.

While the weather stole all the headlines on the first night of the show, night two was very different. Sunday saw three championship changes which will make a huge difference on SmackDown and RAW moving forward.

There were five title changes over the two nights and with them came some impressive statistics. There were also records created and history made on several occasions.

Statistics are important in WWE when it comes to title reigns or win/loss records, so it's always handy to know where WWE Superstars stand following an event like WrestleMania and moving into SummerSlam.

The following article looks at just five of the best statistics coming out of WrestleMania 37 that every WWE fan needs to take note of.

#5 Sasha Banks makes history at WrestleMania 37

While Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair made history in their own right when they became the first two women to main event WrestleMania in a singles match, The Boss was able to go one step further.

Despite Banks losing her SmackDown Women's Championship to Belair on Night One, The Boss also became the first person in history to main event WrestleMania after being born in the 1990s.

Banks was born in 1992 and is just 29 years old, while her opponent Bianca Belair was born back in 1989 and is 32 years old.

Belair and Banks are also the first ever African-American women to main event WWE's biggest show of the year. The first women to main event the Show of Shows were Charlotte Flair, Ronda Rousey, and Becky Lynch back at WrestleMania 35 in 2019.

The match itself was hailed as the stand out moment of the night. Both women were able to tell their story, take the fans on a journey and ultimately Belair's triumph was seen as the best possible outcome.

#4 Randy Orton becomes the first man in WWE to defeat Bray Wyatt on two occasions at WrestleMania

Randy Orton is a former world champion, but at this year's WrestleMania, The Viper was more focused on retribution. This was Orton's 17th WrestleMania event and it was his second match against Bray Wyatt at the Show of Shows.

The last time the two met at WrestleMania, Orton was able to dethrone Wyatt as WWE Champion and was later part of a House of Horrors match which settled their feud.

It's interesting to note that Orton hasn't won a WrestleMania match since his win over Wyatt and last night's victory ended a three-year losing streak. Orton was able to pin The Fiend at WrestleMania, which means he is just the second man to do this after Goldberg.

Orton is the first man to defeat The Fiend on two separate occasions after his victory back at WWE TLC in December as part of the Firefly Inferno match. He is also the first man to defeat both Bray Wyatt and his alter-ego at WrestleMania.

#3 Rhea Ripley makes history by becoming the RAW Women's Champion at WrestleMania

Rhea Ripley defeated Asuka as part of the co-main event of night two of WrestleMania to become the new RAW Women's Champion.

The win comes just a year after Ripley lost her NXT Women's Championship to Charlotte Flair back at WrestleMania 36 inside WWE's Performance Center. The win cements a turnaround for Ripley, who had looked lost in WWE since her defeat to The Queen 12 months ago.

The victory also allows The Nightmare to make history as the only female wrestler to have held the NXT UK Women's Championship, NXT Women's Championship, and the RAW Women's Championship.

There is no other female wrestler in the company at present who has won these three titles. Rhea Ripley is just 24 and has a lengthy career ahead of her, which she proved last night at WrestleMania.

With all of the history that the women are making in WWE at present, you can believe that there will be more added to Ripley's list in the future.

#2 Omos wins a WWE title on his WrestleMania debut

Omos teamed up with AJ Styles at WrestleMania this past weekend to challenge The New Day for the RAW Tag Team Championships.

The former bouncer for RAW Underground proved that he has been training over the past few months and was able to step in and win the match for his team by using his incredible strength.

Omos and AJ Styles walked out of WrestleMania on Saturday night as the new RAW Tag Team Champions, which meant that Omos joined quite an elite list of stars.

The likes of Nicholas, Carlito, Gail Kim, and even Santino Marella are some of the best-known names who were able to win a championship as part of their debut. Omos was able to take it a step further by winning the titles at the biggest show of the year.

As of writing, it's unclear as to whether or not the giant WWE star will remain in the tag team division in the long-term or push forward for a chance to become a bigger star on Monday Night RAW.

#1 AJ Styles becomes Grand Slam Champion at WrestleMania

AJ Styles made his debut in WWE as part of the 2016 Royal Rumble match and finally became a Grand Slam Champion this year at WrestleMania. The former WWE Champion was only missing a tag team title to complete the set and ensure that his name was printed in the record books.

Styles has had an incredible past few years since making his WWE debut that has seen him list the Intercontinental Championship, United States Championship, and WWE Championship.

The former world champion has been seen as a solo star for the best part of his WWE career. It wasn't until Omos came into the picture that the Tag Team Championships started to look like a decent option for Styles.

While many fans believed that Styles' match at WrestleMania was a waste, it allowed him to become a Grand Slam Champion in WWE. He joins a list of elite WWE Superstars who have lifted four of the biggest titles the company offers.
