Whether you're a fan of AEW or WWE, there is no denying that Roman Reigns has solidified his spot in pro wrestling history. Recently a Hall of Famer and All Elite legend has publicly praised Reigns and another top superstar.

Arn Anderson broke into the business in 1981. He returned to WWE to work as an agent after WCW closed in 2001. The Horseman was released in February 2019 after allegedly allowing an intoxicated Alicia Fox to wrestle at a live event. Arn joined AEW later that year as a coach and on-screen talent.

The Enforcer worked with many rising stars in WWE, including Roman Reigns and others who came from FCW and NXT. He also worked closely with major talent including AJ Styles. Speaking to Bill Apter on Sportskeeda's WrestleBinge YouTube channel, the 65-year-old praised The Tribal Chief, The Phenomenal One, and one star he's been close to for years - Cody Rhodes.

"I mean, how do you not respect Roman Reigns and what he has done? AJ Styles, I think, is a player. Cody Rhodes is a player," Arn Anderson said. [From 04:28 to 04:39]

Double A's last match on record came at WCW Thunder on May 9, 2000. He defeated David Flair by DQ that night. There has been no talk of Arn wrestling since he's been with AEW.

In addition to The Arn Show, the legendary wrestler is launching a new podcast on his YouTube channel with co-host Paul Bromwell. Anderson said they plan to do two shows per month - one going over his entire career, and one answering fan questions.

AEW legend Arn Anderson on modern pro wrestling

Arn Anderson is regarded by many as one of the most influential pro wrestlers. He is also widely considered to be one of the greatest tag team wrestlers of all time, but his 20-year in-ring career included successful singles runs.

Speaking to Bill Apter on Sportskeeda's WrestleBinge YouTube channel, The Enforcer of the Four Horsemen was asked about classic vs. modern wrestling, and why those memories still resonate with fans today. Arn remarked how busy today's product is.

"We built a match around one big thing usually that would occur during the match. Today's mentality is to do a bunch of just spectacular, which it is, athletically unbelievable things and string it all together. The problem with that is to the naked eye, they just saw six unbelievable things, but I don't remember what was third, second, fourth because it's just too much," Arn Anderson said. Arn continued:

"In the old days, we had to make everything mean something because you had to do that every single day, sometimes 365 days of the year, like 86. You can attest to it. No days off," Arn Anderson said. [From 03:01 to 03:19]
