Major AEW star shares a one-word message after tribute to Nikki Bella on Collision

A major AEW star shared a one-word message after paying a touching tribute to WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella on Collision this week. Nikki is seen as one of the pioneers of women’s wrestling, and it is not hard to see why. The star who paid the tribute is none other than Anna Jay.

Jay took on former WWE star Serena Deeb in a hard-hitting match but unfortunately ended up on the losing side. Her ring gear resembled Nikki's, and Anna later confirmed on social media that it was a tribute to her.

A fan posted a picture of her Jay from the show and asked her if it was inspired by Nikki Bella. To that, she had one simple answer:

“Yes.”

It was a tough loss for Anna Jay against Serena Deeb, but that was expected, given that the latter is embroiled in a bitter rivalry with Toni Storm. The match will not be remembered as much as what happened afterward. The AEW Women's World Champion came out to the ramp and stripped her clothes while standing behind a flag.

That caught everyone by surprise, and the fans had their jaws on the floor. Serena, however, was not impressed as she got off the ring and chased Luther, Storm, and Mariah May to the AEW backstage area.
