A former AEW TNT Champion announced his return, which could be a major boost for Tony Khan and the company. This star has been away since last year.

The name in question is Scorpio Sky. Sky has been out of action since October 2023, when he sustained an injury. His last match took place in Ring of Honor on HonorClub.

The wait for his return now seems to be over, as a video was played on this week's AEW Rampage where Sky talked about his return. The 41-year-old said:

“I have done things people dream about. I have made money. Faced legends. Won championship after championship. You might not want to hear this but that was easy. That does not mean I don't relate. I understand that a normal person in my position would fail because since time began, when people wanted to see a star, they’d look up at the sky and all that does is put me in the perfect place to reach down and lift you up here with me. So to all the fans around the world, I am coming back and I am here for you.”

Sky had a great fan following in AEW before his injury and going by his promo, it looks like he will be coming back as a face. The fans will no doubt love to see him back in the ring.
