Cole Tucker's wife, Vanessa Hudgens, is expecting, but the soon-to-be mother's professional projects are now taking the spotlight. She portrayed the role of Ruby Collins in the comedy-drama movie "French Girl," released on March 15. Now another one of her projects will make its way to the big screen.

Hudgens will reprise her role as Kelly, a weapon expert for Ammo, in the upcoming edition of the "Bad Boys" franchise. She will appear in the film "Bad Boys: Ride or Die," also starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, which premieres on June 7. This is the fourth edition of Sony's action franchise, but Hudgens' character only made its debut in its prequel, "Bad Boys for Life," released in January 2020.

On Saturday, the "Bad Boys" social media handle released an action-packed cameo featuring Hudgens, Smith and Lawrence, along with other Ammo team members. Until the release date, expect these sneak peeks into the movie to hit social media.

The filming of "Bad Boys: Ride or Die" began in March 2023, but due to the SAG-AFTRA actors’ strike that went on from July to November 2023, the shooting was stalled. When it restarted, Vanessa Hudgens was already pregnant.

“So the strike happened [and] when she came back and we had to finish the movie, it was really [about] trying to figure out how to shoot around [the bump],” Will Smith told Entertainment Tonight.

However, staying true to her commitments, Hudgens completed her part of the shooting. This led to Smith praising her as “a hard worker” who “wants to get it done.”

When Hudgens was a little underwhelmed with her situation, Smith brought her attention to the fact that her child would be part of the movie.

“I was like, ‘No, don’t worry. You’ll always be able to tell your child that they were in this scene with you,’” Smith said.

Cole Tucker and Vanessa Hudgens dated for a couple of years before the LA Angels infielder proposed to the "High School Musical" actress in Paris in February 2023. On Dec. 2, the two tied the knot in a private ceremony in Tulum, Mexico.
