In a surprise move, Mogo Esports signed the ex-BGMI players of Gods Reign right before the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 Round 3. The five-man lineup features several top-tier players such as Destro, Justin, and Robin. The squad has secured a seat in the fourth round of the India Series through the Grind tournament, which was played in April.
MOGO Esports will kick off their BGIS journey in a few days. The Destro-led lineup was the champion of its 2023 edition. The squad was associated with Gladiator Esports in the previous season and will now endeavor to defend their title.

Except for Robin, these players all played for Gladiators Esports last year and also accomplished some great feats in BGMS Season 2. Earlier this year, they joined Gods Reign, but they've left the club after just four months.
The third round of BGIS 2024 started on May 16 and will wrap up on May 19. A total of 256 teams are contesting for the 48 spots in the fourth round and the 16 spots in the Wildcard Entry stage. MOGO Esports will need to be consistent in their six games to capture a seat in the subsequent stage. The Destro-led squad has struggled to do the same in previous tournaments.
DeltaPG was the top-performing individual in the previous season of the India Series, and Justin was the star performer in the Masters Series Season 2. Both renowned athletes played a crucial role in these mega competitions, where the team secured a resounding victory.
Justin, Shogun, and DeltaPG were outstanding in 2023 and helped their team win many BGMI events, but they have had a decline in their performance in the last few months. However, under the captaincy of Destro, these players will be hoping to find their ideal form in BGIS 2024.
Robin, a well-known name, has played with these players before. He was previously in OR Esports, which recently ceased competing in BGMI tournaments. Robin's presence will strengthen the squad and help the side perform better in the India Series since he is considered one of the top players in India.
