After a long wait, World Series of Warzone is officially coming back again in 2024 with a massive prize pool. This time, the ultimate Warzone competitive tournament is bringing brand new features for players to compete in. With more regions and matches for qualification, this year's competition is bigger than ever.

When does the World Series of Warzone 2024 begin?

The World Series of Warzone 2024 will officially commence on May 24 for the NA and EMEA regions. The in-game open qualifications will be available from 9 am to 3 am PT. After the end of the open qualifications, the top 69 squads from the two regions will qualify for the next stage, which will begin on June 4.
Due to massive player demand, Call of Duty has also expanded the regions in the World Series of Warzone in 2024. With more regions, there will be a greater number of players from all over the world.
What can we expect from the World Series of Warzone in 2024?
The upcoming global competitive tournament for Warzone will be played on the Urzikstan map. With this year's tournament, Call of Duty is introducing a new global final format, where the Solo Yolo will be the first match for players to compete in.
The prize pool for the solo match has also decreased. Compared to the traditional $100,000 prize pool in Solo Yolo, it will be $50,000 this year, with the winner taking it all. Call of Duty has disclosed that this decision has been taken to shift more of the overall preparation to the global final tournament. With a $1 million prize pool, players will have a lot to fight for.
This year's WSOW will also introduce brand new competitive settings in the tournament. The rules are inspired by the Warzone Ranked Resurgence, and here is what to expect:
