Bryson DeChambeau has made a lighthearted tweet after the conclusion of the 2024 PGA Championship. The tournament concluded at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky on Sunday, May 19, 2024.

The LIV Golfer lost by one stroke against Xander Schauffele. DeChambeau carded an overall 20-under 264 with scores of 68, 65, 67 and 64. After the tournament loss, he made a hilarious post on X (formerly Twitter). Sharing a collage of a picture of his fist pump, he wrote:

"I think I set a new personal record for amount of fist pumps in one week."

The 30-year-old also congratulated Schauffele on X and said:

"What a week, congratulations to Xander!"

In the post-round press conference, Bryson DeChambeau again praised Xander Schauffele and then talked about his performance. He said (via PGA Championship):

"On my side of the coin, disappointing, but whatever. I played well. I didn't strike it my best all week, felt like I had my B game. Pretty much my putting was A+, my wedging was A+, short game was A+, driving was like B. Shot T in par in a major championship."

In the final round, DeChambeau carded the lowest score on the field along with Billy Horshel who also carded 7-under 64. He secured seven birdies, three in the front nine and four in the back nine in the fourth round.

DeChambeau further said that he looks to perform better in the US Open and the Open Championship. He said (via PGA Championship):

"Proud of myself for the way I handled adversity. Definitely disappointing, but one that gives me a lot of momentum for the rest of the majors. I said today it was closing time, but it'll be closing time hopefully over the next couple majors."

Bryson DeChambeau will next play in the LIV Golf Houston from June 7 to 9 at the Golf Club of Houston.
