GTA 6 is expected to have many new and returning features, but Shark Cards are unlikely to be one of them. They have been a part of the series for over a decade, and a majority of the fanbase despises the concept behind them. Many players frequently urge Rockstar Games to discontinue them due to various reasons. However, no such decision has been made yet.

This article discusses five reasons why Rockstar Games should not add Shark Cards to GTA 6 or its online multiplayer.

Why GTA 6 should not have Shark Cards

1) They provide unfair advantages

The Shark Cards in GTA Online provide certain players with unfair advantages, and the same can be expected in GTA 6. Grand Theft Auto games are played by different types of players, but Shark Cards are specifically beneficial for those with an economic advantage.

Wealthy players can easily buy as many Shark Cards as they want, become rich in-game, and get access to superior features. Meanwhile, others have to climb up the growth ladder through hard work.

2) They ruin the fun of grinding

Grinding is an important part of the Grand Theft Auto games, and it is one of the things that keep players engaged for hours.

The main goal of grinding is to earn money, but Shark Cards provide cash in an instant. If GTA 6 also introduces Shark Cards, it will hamper the fun of grinding. Those who use these items may also miss out on many minor gameplay details because of this.

3) They could make the gameplay feel boring

It is normal for players to want things that they don’t have. Most of the things in Grand Theft Auto titles can be acquired through money, and the grinding for cash is what makes the gameplay interesting.

However, Shark Cards offers you cash bundles without you having to play even one mission. After the latest GTA 6 release announcement, fans are eager to enjoy the upcoming gameplay, so Rockstar Games should not ruin it with easy money.

4) They are not worth the value

Shark Cards are not worth their value if you consider their buying prices, the in-game money they offer, and inflated product rates in GTA Online. If GTA 6 also has the same inflated economy, purchasing Shark Cards will be a waste of your real-life money.

Therefore, Rockstar Games should abandon the idea of Shark Cards and adjust the economy in GTA 6. Players will not need money boosts if the products have decent price tags.

5) They create skill issues among players

While Shark Cards can easily make you rich, you’ll surely lack the skills that other players gain by grinding for money.

There are many instances in Grand Theft Auto Online where a wealthy player lacks basic survival skills. Therefore, by removing Shark Cards from the upcoming game, Rockstar Games can fix this imbalance among players.

After the GTA 6 release date, Shark Cards should be a thing of the past.
