Minecraft Dungeons was an ambitious game that had everything right on paper. It offered the original Minecraft experience, only differently. But despite everything going right for Minecraft Dungeons, unfortunately, the game failed to capture the community's attention. It could barely secure a sizable portion of the market and hence, became yet another spin-off that spiraled into oblivion. But it looks like things are changing.

Players are facing an issue causing them to get stuck on the loading screen. The game takes forever to load and there seems to be no way to get it started. If you are someone who plays Minecraft Dungeons and is facing this issue, here are two possible fixes that can work. Let’s get started.

The loading screen takes an annoyingly long time to appear upon launching the game. This can be irritating, given there are no error codes or corrupted files, simply a plain white screen.

Let’s start with the basics of fixing the issue. If they do work, you won't need to worry about the more complex methods of fixing this issue. The first thing you can do is restart the game, along with your computer. It’s a quick and easy fix and works most of the time.

In case you have already tried doing that, you can try logging out of your Microsoft account from Minecraft Launcher and then signing in again. This is a solid way to find out if the white box error is caused by any login issues.

It is recommended that you first log out from the Launcher and then close the game and your computer, to ensure these methods actually work. This should fix the issue and you should be able to launch the title after restarting your computer and the game. In case this fix still does not work, you can try the more elaborate method.

Step 1: Go to the folder where the installation files for Minecraft are located. This can be done by opening the ‘Installation’ tab on the Launcher. Here, you’ll see two folders: Engine and Dungeons.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Dungeons’ folder and go to Binaries and then to Win64

Step 3: Here, find the Dungeons-Win64-Shipping and run it as administrator. This will start the game and you might see a log-in screen. Enter your details and the game should run normally.

Step 4: You can create a shortcut for the file and retain it on your desktop to access the game from there.

If the problem persists, perhaps deleting and re-installing the game can help. But, before you do that, it is recommended that you contact Mojang Studios' technical help team first and let them take over.
