When is the last date to claim Minecraft anniversary capes?

Minecraft is giving out a ton of free reward items to players in celebration of its 15th anniversary. This includes different capes, such as the Twitch cape and glitch mask, the TikTok cape, and the most anticipated one; the anniversary cape which is unofficially called the ‘creeper’ cape owing to its creeper-like pattern.

Claiming the creeper cape is quite easy. All players must do is head over to Mojang Studios’ official website and then log in using their Minecraft account. This will automatically add the cape to the player’s account. While the process of claiming the cape is easy, there is one thing that is not certain; when is the last date of claiming the Minecraft anniversary cape? Here’s what we have found.

All rewards being given are available for a limited period only. So, once the last date to claim is gone, players won’t be able to access these items; especially the capes, since they are not transferable.

Taking the anniversary cape into consideration, there is no mention of the last date to claim this reward. The official webpage that shows the information about the cape does not mention anything about the last date to claim the cape. However, this does not mean that the cape will be available forever.

Mojang Studios is giving a reward every day till May 29, which will be the last date of the anniversary event. The official website does mention that the last day to claim these rewards is May 29. Since the ‘creeper’ cape is one of these ‘everyday’ rewards, the last date to claim it will likely be May 29. So, for all players looking to acquire this item, it is better to claim it as soon as possible.

This is not the case with every cape. The Twitch and TikTok cape are co-branded items and the last date to claim these items is in June. The longer claim period could be because these capes are made in partnership with other brands and hence, are not strictly a part of the 15th-anniversary event.

Apart from the capes, Minecraft is also partnering with other companies to celebrate this big achievement. There’s a Minecraft Google easter egg that can be accessed by searching the title's name on Google. There’s also a new Pringles flavor called the ‘TNT’ that is available only in the US and for a limited period.
