Tawanchai doesn't regret not finding the finish against Jo Nattawut last October

Tawanchai had a difficult time finding the knockout against Jo Nattawut in their hard-fought kickboxing clash last October.

The two strikers went tit-for-tat for three unstoppable rounds after the former challenger Superbon withdrew on short notice due to an injury.

Nattawut, who is known for his high-level brawling style, volunteered to step in for Superbon, and made Tawanchai's nightmares come true.

Tawanchai had a tough time acclimating to the kickboxing rules, whereas Nattawut did not. Nevertheless, the ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion emerged as the victor via unanimous decision.

When he was asked this week by Sportskeeda MMA if he regretted not finding the stoppage against Nattawut like he usually does, Tawanchai replied:

"I'm not disappointed [that I didn't finish Jo Nattawut] because I know that, unlike Muay Thai, it's harder to knock opponents out in kickboxing."
