"I'm very feel for this fight" - Fans react as Tyson Fury goes into Oleksandr Usyk fight with near 30-pound edge over Ukrainian

With the undisputed boxing champion set to be crowned on May 18, Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk made the blockbuster event official on May 17 at the event weigh-ins. As expected, Fury weighed in significantly heavier than Oleksandr Usyk, causing some fans to react on social media.

Usyk, who has spent a significant amount of his career as a cruiserweight, weighed in at 233.5 pounds. Fury, a career heavyweight, notably recorded a much higher number at 265 pounds.

Despite Fury being the naturally larger fighter, some fans were shocked by the weigh-in numbers and expressed differing opinions on X. Of the reactions, one fan appeared to be in support of Usyk, commenting the champion's infamous quote.

The comment read:

The reference came from an old quote of Usyk's. When asked by a reporter how he was feeling in preparation for his upcoming fight, the Ukrainian said he was "very feel," confusing the interviewer and fans.

How much did Tyson Fury weigh against Francis Ngannou?

In preparation for the undisputed title fight on May 18, Tyson Fury has notably shed a few pounds of body fat while arguably being in the best shape of his life.

In his last outing against Francis Ngannou, 'The Gypsy King' weighed in much heavier, tipping the scales at 277.7 pounds.

Ngannou, however, is a much larger natural heavyweight than Usyk, weighing in at 272.1 pounds.

Although his weight has tended to fluctuate from fight to fight, the 262 pounds Fury weighed in on May 17 was the lightest he has been in a long time.
