Nepal has won the bid to host the SAFF Championship 2013. The decision was taken by the SAFF Executive Committee at the sidelines of the SAFF Women’s Championship on Sunday.
The SAFF Championship 2013 will be played in Kathmandu and the tournament is likely to be hosted in September or December. The decision was taken unanimous by the SAFF Executive Committee.
Eight South Asian rivals will lock horns for the South Asian crown, while defending champions India will be looking forward to defend the title.
India had won the SAFF Championship 2011 in a hardly contested final against Afghanistan at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Delhi [+ read more].
