The latest episode of AEW Dynamite made headlines with its unexpected closing segment, which saw Jack Perry and The Young Bucks assault All Elite Wrestling President Tony Khan.

The Scapegoat punched Khan in the stomach despite being reinstated to the company, which was followed by newly-crowned AEW Tag Team Champions Matthew and Nicholas Jackson hitting the TK Driver on the promotion's head honcho.

The Elite, now comprised of The Bucks, Perry and Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada, declared their intention to change AEW in accord with their vision in a backstage interview after Dynamite. In order to accomplish that goal, the faction could be looking to expand in the coming months and add several new members to its ranks.

#1: Judge, Jury, Executioner: Former AEW World Champion Hangman Page rejoins The Elite

On the Dynamite after Revolution 2024, The Young Bucks suspended Hangman Page for assaulting AEW officials during the three-way world title bout also involving Swerve Strickland and champion Samoa Joe. The Anxious Millenial Cowboy has been missing from All Elite Wrestling television since then. However, his close history with The Jackson Brothers could lead to Page rejoining The Elite.

The actions of the former AEW World Champion prior to Revolution indicated the prospect of a heel turn for Page, who notably gained significant audience interest after joining the villanous stable Bullet Club in 2016.

The Virginia native could repeat history and align himself with The Bucks, Okada and Perry. Doing so could also pit him against his old rival, partner and stable-mate Kenny Omega, who was fired from The Elite by The Jackson Brothers last month.

#2 and #3: All Elite Machine Guns: MCMG joins forces with The Young Bucks

It was reported earliest this month that The Motor City Machine Guns were headed to AEW following the expiration of their TNA contracts. Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin make up one of the greatest tag teams in all of pro-wrestling, having found unparalleled success in ROH, NJPW and TNA.

Both share a rich history with The Young Bucks, and have even crossed paths with Kazuchika Okada. Furthermore, it was hanging Sabin with a noose during a major ROH show that earned Adam Page the "Hangman" moniker.

MCMG competed at AEW All Out 2022, teaming with Jay Lethal in a losing effort against FTR and Wardlow. Should they decide to sign with the Tony Khan-led company, Shelley and Sabin could band together with The Elite and start their tenure in the promotion by participating in its hottest storyline.

#4: Killswitch Re-engaged: Luchasaurus reunites with Jack Perry

Jack Perry first tasted championship gold in All Elite Wrestling when he and Luchasaurus won the AEW World Tag Team Titles in January 2022. Jurassic Express broke up after Christian Cage, and later Luchasaurus himself, turned on Perry, although he would go on to defeat both men in singles matches. Since then, the Dinosaur of All Elite Wrestling has been a member of The Patriarchy alongside Cage, and even won the TNT Championship from Wardlow in 2023.

However, Luchasaurus, now re-christened as Killswitch, lost the title to The Patriarch in a triple-threat match also involving Darby Allin on Collision later that year. The 39-year-old star found himself relegated to running interference for Cage since then, and even handed over a TNT Title shot to the latter against Adam Copeland at Worlds End 2023.

Should Killswitch decide to part ways with The Instant Classic (following his TNT Title loss to Copeland last month), he could reunite with Jack Perry in The Elite as a monstrous heel enforcer.

#5: Say Hello to AEW's new CEO: Mercedes Mone in league with The Elite

Mercedes Mone's arrival to AEW marked one of the promotion's biggest signings this year. The CEO will make her in-ring debut at Double or Nothing 2024, challenging Willow Nightingale for the TBS Title. Their rivalry took an intriguing turn when Mone slapped Nightingale on the April 24, 2024 episode of Dynamite, escalating tensions between the two women. After The Elite laid out Tony Khan at the end of the show, the former IWGP Women's Champion sent out an interesting tweet, writing:

“Say hello to your new #CEO 😱.”

Although the caption is a reference to her catchphrase, All Elite Wrestling could potentially book Mone as a member of the new version of The Elite, presenting the 32-year-old star as a representative of the faction in AEW's women's division.

Such an approach would fit with Mone's natural performance as a heel, and The Boss could be shown to be a powerful ally to The Bucks and their associates.

It remains to be seen whether Tony Khan will find allies of his own to go up against The Elite in what promises to be an exciting new storyline.
