A wrestling veteran credited Christian Cage for his success in WWE. They both formed a tag team in the Stamford-based promotion.

Tyson Tomko is best known for being Cage's partner during his run in WWE. He was instrumental in helping Cage win several matches by often getting involved in them. Their chemistry was so good that when Christian went to TNA Wrestling, Tyson followed suit and they resumed their partnership even there.

However, after parting ways with Cage, Tyson's career slowly dwindled over the next few years. He wrestled his last match in 2013 against Brodie Hollister. Recently the 51-year-old appeared on the Cafe de Rene podcast, where he attributed his success in WWE and TNA to Christian Cage.

"I love Christian [Cage]. Without Christian, I don’t even know if I make it as far as I do, both in WWE and TNA," said Tomko.

Bully Ray praised Christian Cage's character work

Christian Cage has been doing some great work in AEW ever since his heel turn. He has become one of the most hated heels in the company due to the way he has behaved. His penchant to draw heat is something that has benefitted his character.

Speaking on the Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray praised Cage's work as a heel saying that he has no redeeming qualities and that's what makes him such a great heel.

"If you were listening to Busted Open this morning, you heard JBL use the exact same terminology as I do when describing a heel. No redeeming qualities. Zero. Christian has no redeeming qualities. There is not one thing about Christian that you should like, and if anybody says, 'Oh, I love Christian because he plays such a great bad guy!" Well, you're not playing a good enough bad guy if people say that they love to hate you," he said.[H/T:WrestlingInc]
